Shabby that dirty stinking squatting tramp pretending to be friends with Ben and luring him with compliments....

I felt sorry for the poor geezer not picking up on her evil plan...

I'd say the opposite was true. Befriending someone you dislike is more the work like controlled psychopath.

Shabby is no psycho. Her methods of manipulation are far too amateur. I've met plenty of people like her. Just an attention-seeker... she's still seems like a bully though.

Totally. To clear things up, I'm not saying she's a psychopath I'm saying that like many psychopaths she's a great liar.

I read your thread title again and you included abusers as well as bullies. Her behavior was indicative of an abuser but not of a bully. She knew what she was doing in manipulating Ben in order to win the prize. And while doing so she had no idea what the prize was going to be, but she did it anyway.

To answer the "befriending your enemies" question. Isn't that just an elementary Machiavellian skill that comes part and parcel with playing the game in BB?
