...not very? The vast majority of people do not know and should not be expected to know that BB is in fact not live, especially when you have Davina McCall clearly stating it is every Friday.

I haven't heard her say 'Live' in ages, the only time BB11 Has been live was LAST week, ever since then it hasn't been because she has not said 'You're live on Channel Four' at all this series except for last week.

And it has not said 'Live' on the top left hand side of the screen since BB7.

She said it through out every single series except for a two occasions during Big Brother 11 even though the show has not been live since BB7. I think it's fair to say casual viewers can be forgiven for thinking it's live. In fact the only people who know it isn't are stans on forums.

If you noticed, the show was live up until 2006.

BB7 was the last year it was live, and then that bitch Jade had to reutrn in 2007 and ruin it all and made BB scared to do Live TV again.

Its ridiculous that the reason its on a delay is because of something that some ****** did 3 years ago, but oh well.

It's only a half hour delay on the second show so it isn't that bad.

Because during BB7 numerous complaints were filed because housemates repeatedly swore even when asked not to therefore they were forced to put it on a delay so they could bleep any swearing

EDIT: just to clarify, it has absolutely nothing to do with Jade and was decided far before CBB5 has even started.

How come the 'live' thing stopped popping up after BB7?

I understand then yeah that the majority of viewers wouldn't know that its not live but I don't understand why they are kicking up such a fuss about it being on a delay

I reckon the reason Davina says 'You are Live on C4' now is because its such an iconic line even though its now a lie lol.

LOL Probably not the best idea to put a man with tourettes in the house then but I suppose if it was other HMs too then something had to be done, although I think they should of punished the BB7 lot not think that every 4 years after that would be the same.

Technical Difficulties, yes last week when it actually was LIVE during Sunshine's eviction.

Oh god, it is just a half hour delay on the second show when it is dark anyway, its not going to be pitch black in London and Blue Skies somewhere else in the UK in the space of 30 minutes at 10 O'Clock anyway.

It is just Part 2 that isn't live though.

i didnt even think there was a delay tbh . well bb9 did have live voting but no i meant voting in general i said that cause i thought people were making out everything on eviction is recorded
