About John James being in the diary room for so long. I wonder if she'll bad for giving out to him about that when she hears all the nice stuff he was actually saying about her in there?

As childish as JJ behaves, Can't understand how she was so p****d at him being in the DR when she made it plain several times that she didn't want to talk to him. Presumably she wouldn't have been happy if he'd discussed her with other HM's so what was he supposed to do? Whether he brings it on himself, his upset was genuine and he needed to talk!!!!!

exactly, plus she gives out about him in the diary room and to everyone in the house a whole lot more!

I think JJ has serious emotional problems, especially in how he thinks other people see him and I think he's his own worst enemy and cant help but ******* things up, but am starting to think Josie is very calculated in how much she 'punishes' him and knowing she can make him suffer when he behaves like a prat. For that am liking her less and less as her influence on him could be destructive

Yeah, I think Josie is equally as emotionally damaged though but in the opposite way from John James, she has put up this tough/cold heartedness as a defense mechanism I think anyway. If they could meet somewhere in the middle they'd be sorted!

I agree.

I think if Josie cares, and she does about JJ if people like it or not, and she thinks that person is pushing her into a place where she is unhappy she throws up a shield that can make her look hard to those that don't understand behaviour.

She obviously has been hurt before in her life. I woud of thought a lot of viewers would relate to that and have a little empathy.

I guess a lot of people hate any HM to have flaws though and will just hate if they are not perfect all day every day.

God forbid we are ever so human ourselves right?

I think John James, the way he's so over emotional is largely to blame though. It really isn't that big a deal that he should be going on like "you'll never understand josie" When he said that I thought we'd been transported to some cheesy romance flick. :/

What's the point of nice things if he can't say them to her face when it really matters? (remember in the diary room)

Yeah, It's hard to say stuff like that though, especially when you're put on the spot!

I think someone like JJ would find it really hard because I think he has a serious self esteem issue and would prob be scared Josie would laugh at him -I wonder if he's had hi feelings made fun of in the past and thats why he seems to find it hard to relate to people - not just with women, but he can't handle being teased in any way

well he more or less said that a while back, that he used to get called the midget bull fighter because he used to be small. I think that maybe Josie has also been hurt but went a different way than JJ and just built a wall around herself

She was worried he was in there bad mouthing her about her looks and her size, she is extrodinarily paranoid about that and its the reason she is being so harsh with him, she doesn't want to be seen like the fat girl who got played for a fool so she was being the nasty one to make it look like she was the one who didn't care for him in the slightest, when she realises that JJ simply isn't looks orientated she might realise he does genuinely have feelings for her although JJ needs major work too.

They need more alcohol and maybe a few truths will come out
