I think all housemates should participate in these. The top nominated player can replace and the top non-nominated player gets immunity. I dont think its quite fair that people can go up that werent even nominated without at least having a chance to protect themselves

It's cruel yeah, but it's also great to watch them squirm as they wait to see who's going to be chosen.

I would keep it, but instead of choosing a random housemate to go, the two people the winner nominated that week should be announced and the winner would have to pick one of them.

That would liven things up a bit.

In the past when the nominations are revealed most of the housemates feel a little relief, now though with this twist, they have to wait a little longer to see what their destiny is.

Agree.
It pretty much makes a mockery of the nomination process and what happens for me the viewer is that now I don't care about nomination day. Why should I bother?
Whoever is nominated is just going to get changed by one person.
Seriously.. now I don't even bother watching noms or bother caring who is initially nominate.

I like it because it helps stop the block voting a bit (not that there's been any this year anyway tbh) and it also means that we get a chance to get the boring ones out!

At the end of the day I think everyone needs to be up at some point anyway to see if the public actually want them in there, noone should get a free ride to the final!

It's unfair for sure. Popularity in the house doesn't mean anything anymore. If the person who wins the S&R has an issues with any HM then they put them up whether they're popular with the other HM's or not. That goes against the grain of the show IMO.

Too much tampering with the format is one of the main reasons why the shows been canceled.

It does kind of make the housemates nominations a bit pointless, why not just have the whole lot of them up for eviction every week & let the public vote out the least popular...

Great idea but Quaver nominated Ife and Corin this week, now she's put Mario up she's nominated all three, she must be rubbing her hands with glee!

I love the save and replace task. If we had it last year we could of had that spiteful lisa out in week one. With a bit of luck Ife will be out tonight, yay!
