Press selection - Day 5

ORGY GEORGIE?
BIG BROTHER JUST GOT NASTY Sparks fly as Galloway leads bitching against flirty Marsh
By Donna Watson
10 January 2006
BIG Brother celebrities have begun the bitching - with George Galloway and glamour model Jodie Marsh falling out first.
Jodie branded the MP "vile" and "a bitter old man" in a diary room rant.
It followed a day of sniping between Galloway and 1980s pop star Pete Burns about the party girl - with the MP moaning to Big Brother about tales of her sexual exploits.
He complained about Jodie's "extraordinary stories at the breakfast table, which involve every orifice and every fluid known to man".
And as the younger celebrities later discussed their sexual conquests, Jodie shouted to the MP: "Up for an orgy, George?"
Galloway didn't respond - but Pete kept up the catty swipes He bitched: "You can take the ***** to culture but you can't make her think."
He later branded her "a complete imbecile" with the "mental capacity of a nine-year-old".
But the model was backed up by Ordinary Boys singer Preston, who told Pete that Jodie may have more intelligence than they are giving her credit for.
However, it appears more of the older housemates are getting fed up with the Essex girl after spending hours comforting Jodie over her fears that she's hated by the public.
Rula Lenska hit out at her attitude, saying: "If you put out negative all the time, then you will get negative back. She perpetuates it."
But Jodie showed a sensitive side as she revealed she was desperate for a cuddle.
The glamour girl has flirted with 1 Dennis Rodman and admitted to a crush on Preston.
But she complained to Chantelle: "I just want them to bring a fit bloke in here.
"The reason I'd want one really is because I'm always surrounded by men - my boy mates - and we're always cuddling. I miss that. I don't feel there's anyone in here that I can cuddle up with."
Chantelle suggested: "Dennis will cuddle you."
Jodie told her: "Yeah, but that's different. When he cuddles, he's just perving."
But yesterday it was revealed that Jodie may have hidden reasons for her emotional outbursts.
Her parents revealed that yesterday was the third anniversary of her best friend's death.
Kim Banyard was strangled and battered with a hammer on her 22nd birthday by her 21-year-old painter and decorator boyfriend Jonathan Dore, who was later jailed for life in November 2003.
Mum Kristina told GMTV: "She is going through a bit of a traumatic time.
"Kim was murdered three years ago and it always affects Jodie so today I think she will be quite emotional and quite tearful."
Dad John added: "She's very emotional and stressed at the moment but after today I think, hopefully, she will start to get back to her normal self.
"We have enjoyed watching most of it so far and hopefully after today she will start to come into her own."
