..for me he's already popular because he's a confident londoner...a bit like rex. he's not too much my type so his looks don't count.

I dont think he'll he be that bad actually, the 'cocky and vain' comment on himself was probably said just to help sell himself. Liking all the newbies for now, good choices me thinks.

Still think a lot of his support will come from his good looks like John James rather than what he offers.

He's very assertive and confident, and given that he's still new and on best behaviour...we'll have to see if that crosses over to "arrogance". I can see that as his possible downfall, but i'm still keeping an open mind.

That is so true,I really liked John James at the start and was not keen on Ben at all,now i cannot understand why I ever thought JJ was nice,on closer inpection he is truly ugly and Ben has gone up so much for me,I'de happily be in HIS company.
