Default Really enjoying him as a housemate

I am not sure if John James will survive the eviction tonight. I hope he does stay - yes he is controversial, however, I think that had he not been a housemate the house would have been poorer for it. I believe he and Josie will remain friends when this is over and they both go back to their normal lives. It would be great if they did become a couple but that is for them to decide.

He is the one housemate in all eleven series of Big Brother that I would love to talk to.

If he is evicted tonight I will carry on watching but it won't be the same. Good luck John James whatever happens after 10pm tonight.

Yeah, I'm with you on that, yes he has many flaws and I do understand why people don't like him but It's all about the entertainment for me and he has entertained me the most, I'm just glad Sam came in because if John James goes tonight atleast now there is another person in there that I find entertaining!

I think, in a lot of ways, he has spoilt the show! I would have liked to see what direction the show would have taken if JJ and Josie's fake 'romance' hadn't clogged up our screens!

Same boring old nonsense every year - I would have liked to have seen something different - no romances - fake or otherwise!

Totally disagree with your OP, OP. Far as I'm concerned JohnJ is little more than a waste of space. Sorry to burst your bubble, ste2010!

Yes, but don't you think that without Josie and John that the show would have been less interesting. I like most of the HM's but they seem to hold back from saying alot of stuff. At least John james has spoken his mind. Do you know what I mean?

He's certainly be a great entertainer in the house for me. I've enjoyed his bad boy antics and his comedy antics. I hope he doesn't go tonight, but whatever will be will be as they say.

There are still quite a few other housemates I am enjoying in the show, so not all is lost.

Agree with you absolutely that this is a discussion were opinions are invited. I just don't think comments such as he is "a sexual" are appropriate when we cannot get it confirmed or denied. Whatever his sexuality is, that does not make a difference to him as a housemate surely?

Jo got it right when she said he is two people John and James, or I would say Jekyll and Hyde. Sometimes he is a real boor, the Miss. Haversham task; or his nastiness to Corin, which led to her dickhead rant. And other times he is OK, sticking up for Pepper against (of all people) Josie. Siding with Dave early on because he saw him as the underdog and he rebelled against the dreadful, all powerful ,cool femme axis of Keefa,Ife and Rachel1.

He does have his nice side, he is not a player (like Josie), I don't mind if he stays.

Staying under the duvet and fake romance isn't a show and it isn't interesting. The other hms talk when something needs to be said its a pity John James didn't learn to button it and speak when there was a need to speak.

I loved the way Crab Eyes give up on the task after criticising Ben for weeks for not thinking about the group.

I'm obviously living in a parallel universe - I can't wait to see the selfish hypocritical brat kicked out - BB have protected him for too long with biased edits and fawned over his pathetic fake relationship with Josie.

The only regret is that his spiteful fans kicked out one of the legends of BB last week - Ben.

Still it will be worth it to see him get his just desserts

I have assumed from watching him over the last 8 weeks that he is very insecure. I think he did say he was bullied when he was younger -could this could be why he behaves like he does?

Josie is his undoing, without her he could be good.

I have pointed out that he destroyed the all powerful femme-axis at the start. And thank god for that because it would have destroyed BB11. He does side with the underdog.. Ben, Dave and even Sam on occasions.

He is not always the bully.

I think it would have been great to have still had ben in. It was a shame they were up together - but someone had to go unfortunately. Ben was a great housemate too and I would have loved to have seen him still in.

Yes. I've never enjoyed watching anybody under a cover, whether that's a duvet or under the table. That part of Big Brother has been a real turn off for me. I don't care if this is the best housemate or the worst housemate under the covers, it just doesn't make good viewing IMO.

I agree that the show would have been poorer without him. He speaks his mind and tells it straight. No bs Ben style double talk and no trying to please everyone. Until he got bogged down with Josie he interacted well with all the hms. All his votes for eviction were from hms saying "I don't get to see him at all, he's has cut himself off and spends all day with Josie"
He needs to kick her to the kerb.

If that had been you and you were facing eviction - would you have wanted to spend 24 out of your potential last 72 hours with someone you were not close to? If he had been asked to do the task with Josie they would have passed it. I am not saying what he did was right but at the end of the day he does have those feekings that you and i would have in that situation.
