I guess at least Rihanna has mixed up her styles of music and has been experimental. Where as KP has stayed with that happy clappy pop sound.

Music - Rihanna, Ive only heard 4 songs off of Katy's upcoming album and it sounds like its gonna be fantastic though [One of the Boys was okay, but nothing compared to Good Girl Gone Bad and Rated R]!

Rihanna Better by miles,

but Katy Perrys music is a bit more Pop and so i think you hear more of it. She is fairly new to the scene so sticking to pop keeps her name up there, i think she may be more experimental in the future.
