Funny/entertaining for most, but for the average clueless BB viewer it'll mean a vote for Sam, spelling the end of his time in the house

long term and perceptive viewers have gotten to know how this works.

BB editing will work to tell a sort of 'story' about each Housemate through the course of their 'journey' in the house.
On Day 1 they may focus more on just superficial 'face' appearance but even then BB will look for a 'snippet' that tells you "OH this one looked a little ___" or this HM is the __ Kind!

But then BB is quite good to make the next wave of their airtime moments focus on some 'contrary' or 'deeper' moment. HM X will find their intimate moment of the day where they (example) hugged another HM and show you that snip.
This is where you go "Oh.. maybe the ___ type is really more ___ than I thought!?"

Then BB is actually quite brutal a few weeks in because they will sort of start a harsh 'vetting' process of edits.
HM X will get one episode where they (example) edit out just the most pervy comments, bad sex innuendo or the 'awkward sex joke' moments or comments.
BB is quite good at this little 'vilification' edit day because it will often force viewers into 'commitment' for or against someone.

Of course there are 'waves' of these with each HM and depending how long they stay,
but,
One standard is when a HM comes up for eviction and it seems especially if they are a more popular 'untouched' HM.
They will get tested by earning their own 'bad edit day'.

Long time and more perceptive viewers know these trends, arcs and actually at this time (after 11 seasons) you can nearly set your watch by when they come up in the journeys.

Sometimes BBUK has let their own biases get away on them or 'tried to hard',
but,
If you watch live-feeds and then understand the unwritten editing conventions - BBUK is actually quite good editing-wise.
Compare it to BBUSA where what you have seen on live-feeds and what appears in broadcasts would have you believe two completely different houses existed.

Well they've certainly sanitised the way the HMs ganged up on Sam last night and the fact that both JJ and Dave got warnings for their behaviour has been swept under the carpet.

Because last night Jo got a bad edit, and tonight Sam got a bad edit. It's that simple, really.

Anyway - after tonight I think his fate is sealed, sadly.

Yes, but when there's an eviction coming up, if you make a scene and hog airtime then the chances of you annoying people are a lot higher.

Sadly BB voters don't think with their heads. They vote for the person they've seen the most, because they've been annoyed by them the most.

Jo, Dave and JJ [apart from the task] did next to nothing in tonight's show...so people would have no reason to pick up the phone and vote for htem.

I don't think they meant to do that but the majority of these viewers are those who voted for Rachel to win BB9 and Marcus to be evicted from BB10 so we all know the same will happen tomorrow, these dolts just don't appreciate good entertainment.

To be honest John got lucky, if you ask me. Ben was another strong contender to be evicted, it was always going to be between them two.

Against Rachel who was significantly more annoying, I can again understand.

And against Nathan, IIRC, it was the week he was quite nasty to Shabby.

I'm a pessimist anyway.

I'd rather expect something and then be happy when it doesn't happen than get my hopes up and be let down when it does happen.

That's why I always think John James will be evicted because it's likely and when he doesn't go I'm shocked and happy where as if I was a cocky prat like some John fans and be like 'yah he's staying get in your favourite is going haha x' and then he ended up going, you would look like such a fail and be let down


This is also why I'm not expecting much from All Stars.
Although I doubt All Stars will even be as good as alot of people think, Housemate wise.

This isn't even me being pessimistic, but I genuinely do this All Stars is going to suck.

After BB11 this year, I'm not expecting good things - well, except on the production side of things. The cast might be good.
