Default Should they stop live crowds at auditions for the next series?

What do you think?

Personally I really hope they do. Pixie Lott was booed for saying no to a contestant from Cardiff, who in my opinion was ****, earlier on the show. Also Cheryl was just booed for saying no to Paije, who wasn't up to much neither. It seems like the judges cannot say one bad word about these contestants without getting booed by the crowd. The crowd have no right to change the judges votes. If they say no, it should be final. I miss the old audition format.

Nope, I like the live crowd there. Also it sorta gets them used to the final live shows.

I like both the old and new format, the live crowds allow some acts to shine whereas I like the feel of the old format.

It was awful last year and should've been stopped for this year's series. It reminds me of BGT with the crowd shouting 'off, off, off' like brats. Plus there should only be a crowd in the Live Shows, before it it just looks stupid. Not to mention the fact that there's more people in the crowd at the Auditions than there is in the audience at the Live Shows. That's pretty stupid.

And they had to sing a capella in the old format, now they get a backing track.

Yes!!

It's too much like BGT, it's a lot more personal, and probably makes it a lot less nerve wracking for people who are about to perform

Yes i think the crowd should go.

You could actually form a more accurate opinion on singers when the crowd weren't there distracting you!

Much more intimate and personal in the old auditions. That was my favourite part about X factor. Now I just look forward to the intimacy of the judges houses.

The old format should be back. It's better for every reason - it's less intimidating, you hear their own voice and there are less joke acts.

The crowd get on my nerves. They boo the judges for saying no to an act they don't think is suitable yet if there's anyone the crowd don't like they can heckle and scream at them and it's fine.
I'd like to see people from that crowd have the guts to stand up infront of everyone and sing on national television. Even if the act is as **** as they come they don't deserve that treatment.

I think that the crowd should go so that contestants have more of a chance as all you hear coming from the crouds in some auditions are "OFF, OFF, OFF" ect. and if it was me up on that stage i would be nervous and back out. So, if there was no croud it is more likely that you'll get more better auditions and less people showing off at the crowd!!

No but they just need to control them or make them cheer a bit more. The boos were interesting at first and chanting "Get *name* out!" but now it's just depressing and to be expected. Bring back the enthusiasm!

EDIT: Just realised this is about X factor rather than BB lol

The crowd was the only change I didn't like last series and I still don't like it now.

I've managed to go to the auditions for the last two years with firends and if i'm honest, it's not that great anyway. I've been to the BGT audititons and they are much funnier and a lot of the acts rely on an audiences reaction
I prefered the old format for X Factor.
Or even the old Popstar's format was quite good.
Would love Davina to bring pack PTR.

Yes it should! It's totally destroyed the show and also taken away the uniqueness of Britain's Got Talent.

I HATE how much emphasis is on the crowd also when all emphasis should be on the judges and the act. The crowd's reactions obviously influence the judges and we also end up with massive ego's by the live shows with the acts too 'confident' with their performances.
