Last night a source close to the couple – who were married in 2006 and divorced in 2007 – said the pair could be moving towards a full-time reunion.

However it seems the meal didn’t end quite so romantically after the former Ordinary Boys singer, 28, left his ex-wife to pick up the tab.

Our spy continued: “They finished their meal but then when it came to the payment, it seemed Chantelle was left with the bill. I only saw her pay, not Preston, and I think she paid for both of them. I thought that was a bit strange.”

It's funny because CHANTELLE was probably more famous than Preston in 2006...

Yeah, I'd never heard of either of them, but of course Chantelle won, and with a pleasant personality to boot, but I can't remember either of them doing any thing afterwards to justify the description "star" .....
