I think it was over Jedward, not sure.

And Dermot has been making sly little remarks from the very start of tonight's show like 'Oh look it's the start and Louis is complaining already ' he sort of disguises his 'dislike'/hatred for Louis with sarcasm.

It is called banter. He does the same with Simon. Don't think he does it much with Cheryl and Dannii because they don't normally argue. Simon and Louis do, but I think it is entertaining.
