Default vote fix.

how the **** did fyd not come bottom of the votes when they were on 1st,didnt have that popular performance off the public? was it because they would have had to have got rid of katie because nicolo was the better singer and performer?

So the millions of peops that watch the show dont count as the forums say so....

The idea that the vote is rigged doesnt wash with me, because these phone votes are done independantly and scrutinised thoroughly. And also if it was found out that ITV or any or its shows were being fiddled....it would be catastrophic for the station and that show, the lack of credibility would reverberate across all of ITVs shhows that have phone ins and would not be a viable option to get wrong. ....all cos of some liking for one singer over another eh???? I dont think so sonny jim.

Nicolo should have stayed but he got the least votes, tis a shame and maybe the DS mob cursed it, their polls are so off the mark.

Oh well, we all know the phone scams on competitions and other phone ins that were supposed to be strictly regulated but weren't at all, even on a simple show like deal or no deal there was a fix as to winners of the phone ins.
I have totally no faith in the so called regulator s of any phone things and where there are millions of votes cast then error or being creative with the figures is highly likely.

Nocolo did perform well but maybe like Ruth Lorenzo he had no home base of votes in the UK, so that may be why he was at the bottom of the poll. How Belle Amie survived I haven't a clue but there it goes.
I was surprised Louis after last night didn't send Katie home, in my view she did ok but she didn't sing that song well either, FYD were always on a hard one with starting last nights show, they didi better tonight but I didn't care for either of them really.

I'd have sent Katie home of those 2,only because I like that Rihanna song and they were a bit better.

Be careful not to dismiss the conspiracy theories though, these shows and Channels wnat us to do just that, think they always do ti by the book, when not long ago endless shows from all Channels were shown to have had fiddling and false declaration of results, even sometimes just choosing a winner as in competitions themselves .
Not even drawing any names and just ignoring the phone votes altogether,Life has so far taught me to trust no one especially where money and fame are involved as to the results os same.

Yes there has been rigging in the past, and the Blue Peter "Name the Cat" phone in was the one that stands out. The BBC was left to apologise and its integrity was tarnished. The Editor that organised the fiddle was sacked.
There will always be mistakes made with such a voting format, but the risks involved for the broadcaster and employees is just not worth it for the sake of opinion over a pair of singers....IMO.

I take on board what you have said and you are right mistakes will always be made, however to the statement that its not worth it for the sake of opinion over 2 singers, as you so factually put it in your response to me it beggars belief it was worth it over naming a cat.

Some people cannot be trusted, and I always have doubts as to the integrity of votes being verified and collated behind closed doors away from the public eye.
I am not saying that anything happened in this instance but is very possible and how would we the voting public ever know for sure with no transparency to the mechanisms.

Nicocacola seems interesting but that song choice sank him like a torpedo.

Karaoke Gaga is a big mistake for a guy. He even looked uncomfortable.

Nicolo was definetely the right one to go for numerous reasons.
He cannot sing and bar Wagners, Nicolo's was one of the worst vocal performances of the night.
Nicolo has absolutely no stage presence. He looked bored and even all of the dancers and props couldn't cover that up.
He has such a negative attitude and arrogance about him that it is no wonder his fans are in short supply.

I would have rather FYD stayed as it would have been interesting to see what else they could do.
It was a crime that Katie stayed though as she absolutely murdered both We Are The Champions and the song she sung in the final showdown. She won't last much longer though, I can see her doing a Rachel Adedeji and exiting after two or three times in the bottom two within the first three of four weeks.

.
Blue Peter's existance doesnt depend on the publics involvement and the money generated from phone ins....shows like the X factor does. If the voting public were to shun the phone in, then the show would be dead....its the same with all these audience participation shows like BB & ImACeleb.
Thats not to say it cant happen....but the risk to the shows credibility and future ability to generate much needed revenue for the broadcaster, far outweighs the benifits of rigging the show. IMO.

The amount of people that would need to be involved in the rigging and cover up would leave the instigators with a huge problem of then keeping them all happy incase a disgruntled employee was to spill the beans later on.

No one (Note: not noone) knew about the fix put in by Renault to ensure Alonso won the 2008 Singapore F1 Grand Prix....until Renault sacked the No2 driver and he spilled the beans.
