Remember seeing this advert, loved that storyline, one of Corrie's best for me. Also no Conor that promo aired in 2003.

He desperately needed money and had Emily had signed it over to Richard's company ( who take the money for it after people die or something, so Richard taged a robbery on #4 as Aiden Critchley (the unruly kid who nearly killed Sarah in a car crash), so he hit Emily, then in walks Maxine.

Then a few days later, another of his clients passes away, meaning he would have got the money regardless.
