Dannii Minogue has revealed that she would have made the same decision as Cheryl Cole if she was put in her position on last week's X Factor.
Cole refused to vote when both of her acts were in the bottom two but fellow judge Minogue has defended her decision not to choose. Minogue told official show magazine X: "I would do the same as Cheryl if it was two of my acts. "There's no way I could send one home. I think you have to put yourself in her shoes. I said to Simon backstage, 'You could do it, but none of us could do it'." More than 1,000 viewers complained to Ofcom and ITV after Cole decided not to pick between hopefuls Katie Waissel and Treyc Cohen, who was eventually sent home. As much as I can't stand Cheryl, Dannii wouldn't be slated as much as she did that IMO ![]()

I agree, I don't blame Cheryl for not voting, I blame the powers that be for asking her second

As far as Im concerned she shouldnt have been asked second and thats that.
The producers are to blame for the mess. And judges are not actually compelled to vote if they feel strongly. With deadlock it can always be given over to the viewers votes to decide and thats what should have happened. |

if dannii refused to vote aswell then i think she should get into trouble aswell as you get paid a job to vote acts off.

Cheryl didn't refuse to vote, she said she would let it go to deadlock and that was dismissed, are we all watching different shows

I don't think Cheryl was wrong usually she would have been last and so could have taken it to deadlock like she wanted. The producers manipulated the situation to keep Katie in.

![]() TreyC wouldn't have lasted much longer had she stayed and Katie will be going this week so it doesn't really matter IMO anyway.

Its intesting how they always go to the acts mentor last when giving just opions about their performances. Always.
Yet in the sing off Dermot goes to Cheryl second after two of her acts have just performed and she's expected to vote one of them out. Just ridiculous. |

It was the producers fault. The producer knew what they were doing. lol
Cheryl should have been asked last. If I was in her position I would probably vote it to deadlock. The producer KNEW Katie was bottom of the voting and the producer didn't want Katie to go!! TreyC was a bore anyway. |

But will Katie fall over the last hurdle this week. 9 acts left. Only 8 allowed to go on tour apparently.. However it is apprently a double elimination this week? So it sounds confusing of who is going to end up on tour or not? |
