Default Could Rebecca be in trouble this week?

I think she's in more trouble than ever tonight.
Mary is going to get the rebound vote and she'll probably perform last and cher's fans are more likely to vote for her because she's been in the bottom 2 and their's no doubt that she'll perform nearer the end.

Matt is definatly safe and i assume that One Direction are getting more votes than Rebecca.

What do you all think?

I hope she isnt doing Show me love as its a very repetitive song and I don't think it will have any emotional feel at all. Or connect with the audience. It's just not a singers song and is more about the music...in a club.

So I am a bit worried for her. At this stage the judges should be playing safe and giving them classics that always connect emotionally with the viewers.

Everyone is in trouble this week I think.

Rebound vote wont work so well...as everyone will make sure they vote this week to get their act in the final. Going to come down to who has the most/most dedicated fans. having said that I'm pretty sure one direction are safe, the kids will have topped up their mobiles :')

Rebecca is in trouble if she does a song too much like a previous song, sung safely (even if perfectly) and is again standing still and nodding quietly after.

IF.... IF Rebecca knows this is her time to 'break out' and does some moving, emoting, connects to the audience?
She could win it all.

well she can't emote with Show me love as its a very limited song. You got the love would have been much better as it has a powerful, emotional lyric...even when it was a club classic.

Hopefully. She's talented, obviously, but I just really don't want her to win - and at this stage I believe she could. I just want something...different.

Having said that, Mary doesn't really deserve a place in the Final...

I get what you mean. I've not really connected with any of the finalists this year despite watching the show religiously, I just don't really like any of them that much so I find that I'm watching it objectively - I don't think there is a new popstar among any of this bunch. I think Rebecca has the makings of a fantastic singer who is well known outside of the UK, I think if One Direction had a different line up (i.e. they kept Liam, Harry and maybe Zain + two different members) they could be a reasonably marketable boyband with a shelf life beyond the X Factor, Matt could be an extremely successful male solo artist if he injected a bit of personality into anything he did, unfortunately I just find him very boring, even more so than Rebecca. Mary's probably the most likeable out of them all and does have something to say for herself, but she's boxed herself into a very limited style of music, and Cher completely undermines her talent by being really unlikeable.

I don't really know who will make the final four, nor do I really care. I think Rebecca, Matt and Mary need the contract more than Cher or One Direction because the latter two are young and Simon likes them enough to give them contracts regardless. Rebecca, Matt and Mary all really need to make the top 2 because otherwise they're going to fade into obscurity, meaning at least one of them is going to be sorely disappointed after this is all over. None of the three of them are giving us anything we haven't seen before, but they're infinitely more talented than Cher or One Direction who are a bit more exciting but less talented.

This year's X Factor confuses me.

I agree, but I do think Cher is something new to talent shows. She's a rough diamond and her cocky attitude is what I imagine Madonna had in her early days. She's not perfect but has great potential in the right hands.

Her last performance was as dull and forgettable as everything else she has sung. The first song was far better.

Forgettable?

Thats why she's gotten through every week without being in the bottom two then is it?

I wouldnt say Madonna was cocky vut she sure was cheeky, something like Katie had. Madonna strted to get cocky once she knew she was going to do well in her carear and when she pushed peoples buttons big time.

yes she did get more and more cocky up until she had children which seemed to chill her out a lot. In bed with Madonna showed her at her worst I think.

Oh yes when Madonna reached her peak then along came the Erotica album then woosh! Obviously she has to set a better example for her children nowadays but she is still funny when she wants to be.

I hope Rebecca makes the final, she has done enough to get there and if Matt somehow didn't make the final then X Factor would have little credibility left.If any.

We are told though, vote for your favourites, assume no one is safe.
