CBS wants Russell to win so badly, it's out of control. But I don't give a shit, Russell is the best so I'm rooting for him.

He will own all of the other players who seem to be boring and generic. A boring nice cute All-American cast. Yawn.

I personally don't see how Russell can go far in this game. I was shocked he got so far in series 20. Yes maybe people will see him as a strategic player and want to rid his coat tails but seriously, they would all be seriously stupid not to get rid of him early. If he makes the final, highly massively epicly unlikely, he will win!

I would love somebody to play him, like Parvati did in S20 (with the double idol)

I really want a strategic player to win over an athletic person who wins all the immunities.

The producers will not accept him eliminated before final 5. They know he's the star of the show. They won't let that happen.

I started hating Russell on Samoa. I hated him even more on Heroes vs. Villains, so there's a pretty good chance that I'll hate him even more on Survivor: Redemption Island. I can't wait.

It's just silly, it's obv they only invented redemption island incase Russle or Rob got voted off early. It could have worked without them.
The past 4 seasons 3 have had Russel in.
That's just stupid.

Ah we'll see what happens. It might surprise me. At least The new series of Amazing Race: Unfinished Buisness looks good.

I agree. They seem to have just put a bunch of lackluster characters in and shoved in two people we're sick of (moreso Russell than Rob)

Why can't they just produce a good solid cast like Survivor China or Panama and not just shove in what we've already seen?

There are ton of other people that are too similar to past contestants as well. They should be looking for new personalities, not casting people of the same type season after season.

To be fair, I think they cast seasons 21 & 22 at the same time. Although that doesn't excuse the lazy casting whatsoever.

I don't think i'm gonna watch this tbh. I stopped watching halfway through on both season 21 & season 22, so I think i'm just going to give up. There's been no hype what so ever and it all looks boring.
