Last year it was Red Dead Redemption. This year, the newest big game to come from Rockstar is LA Noire. LA Noire is Rockstar's newest and final project before releasing Grand Theft Auto 5. L.A. Noire is a dark and violent detective thriller set against the backdrop of Los Angeles in the post-war years of the late 1940's, where you'll take the reins of newly minted detective Cole Phelps as he solves gruesome and mind-bending cases, interrogates suspects, and rises through the ranks of the LAPD. Yes, for the first time in the history of gaming, Rockstar have used a brand new engine on LA Noire, branded 'Motion Scan Technology!' and you can find out more information on that by looking at one of the videos below. What Motion Scan does is, it enables you to see every single little detail on a character's face. Which was vital for this game as it enables the player to tell if a character is lieing or telling the truth.
