Watching (and loving) The Only Way is Essex and Harry "oh shut aaaaaap" who has a gay accent - where does that come from and why dio many gay people either speak like that or adopt an accent like that?

What is the science behind it?

I think your voice develops from who you spend a lot of time with; a lot of gay people tend to hang out with girls so that's probably where their voice develops from.

Timmy Trendy is uber gay. Although I do have a friend who sounds exactly like that.

I'd say I have a mildly gay voice, but then I'm good at vocals so can range my voice depending on who I'm talking to.
