I am trying to think of some song think it's from the Early 90's maybe the late 80's, Some black guy sung it with dreadlocks.. His name might have begun with M and rhymed with his last name.. ( Might be thinking of someone else there ) the Video him on the beach with some other Girl ( I think )

I thought they were a duo. I remember them (or him, might be wrong
 ) getting into a bit of controversy because none of the voices on their records were actually them LOL
