This is a good omen. For years and years us 'BB Purists' have been calling for true diversity AND a process that does more 'recruiting' in the non-professional stations in life:

Bad - recruiting from nightclubs. (far too common in the past).

Good - recruiting from Comic Con and Antiques roadshow.

Yes, I want to see a genuine nerd. I know things went horribly wrong with a certain Marcus before,
but,
Yes, I am interested in a 'world of warcraft' type of nerd. Can they even go 2 weeks without playing online??

I definitely want to see an experiment that includes an upper-middle class antique nerd. 55 years old, collects ceramic toads. maybe well educated, not wealthy, doesn't watch television.

And why do I like 'recruiting'?

In some ways I don't like recruiting because in the past this always means some Agents shook hands.
Some actor or insurance salesman paid someone who owed someone a favour or casting people go club hopping instead of working. Pick 'characters' from the scene.

What I DO like about 'recruiting' as might be described here is that they can end up with people who may NOT have been so interested in fame, unhealthy attention or use BB for quick career boosts.
I WANT to find people who might even be interested but could never show up at huge arena or shopping center auditions.

So this does sound good but sorry to say I agree that public auditions are mainly for promotion and around 6 possible openings.
Maybe less.
Remember BB11 and almost EVERYONE was picked from either recruitment, referral,
or,
were public applicants but from prior to the 2010 open auditions. Some from years earlier.
Was there even 4 of them from 2010 public auditions? I don't think so.

How were you 'rudely' banned.

Did the mods say, "Hey idiot, here's a ban to **** you off, get it right up ya B****** and wallow in it?". I've had a few bans in my time and never once have the bans been issued 'rudely'. Might not have been 'mutually agreeable' but they were never 'rude' bans.
