Does it get better after 4 episodes? I dont like their accsents or the characters.

I prefure The Vampire Diaries

True Blood is more gritty and grown up than Vampire Diaries imo. I also think the characters are far more interesting. I doubt you'll suddenly start liking it if you don't already, their accents don't change mid way through.

I love True Blood, it's a great show. I liked the second season, I know it wasn't popular with many fans and critics but I enjoyed it although Maryann got annoying towards the end of the season.
