Coronation Street newcomer Stella Price will confide in Carla Connor over another dark secret from her past later this year, a report has revealed.

In forthcoming scenes, Stella will tell Carla that she was raped by an ex-boyfriend years ago - before adding that she has never revealed her ordeal to anyone until now, according to The Sun.

Stella, played by Michelle Collins, apparently decides to discuss her past after hearing that Carla has suffered a brutal sexual attack at the hands of her boyfriend Frank Foster.

Seeing that Carla (Alison King) is struggling to cope, the Rovers Return's landlady recalls her own nightmare because she believes her advice will help the businesswoman to come to terms with what has happened.

A Coronation Street source told the newspaper: "Carla is horrified to hear that Stella too has gone through a similar torment. The pair have a real heart-to-heart. They are both strong women and they soon become firm friends."

When Carla considers dropping the charges against Frank, Stella reportedly encourages her to take the case to court otherwise she will regret it for the rest of her life.

Viewers have already seen Stella revealed as Leanne Barlow's birth mother in a storyline twist.

Carla's tragic new Coronation Street plot begins next month.

Coronation Street schemer Tracy Barlow will discover that she is expecting twins in a forthcoming storyline, a report has claimed.

The Weatherfield troublemaker, played by Kate Ford, had a one-night stand with old flame Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) last month - before leaving the cobbles when he treated her harshly following their night of passion.

Recent reports have tipped Tracy to return home to Coronation Street and leave Steve stunned with the news that she is pregnant with his child.

However, according to the Daily Star today, a further twist lies in store for the pair when they learn they are actually having twins.

It is thought that they receive the news when Tracy faints due to extreme morning sickness, leading to an emergency medical examination.

During the consultation, the doctor apparently discovers two heartbeats - providing a shock for both Steve and Tracy.

Tracy's baby news was previously tipped to play a role in the upcoming departure of Steve's estranged wife Becky, played by Katherine Kelly.

Meanwhile, Coronation Street's producer Phil Collinson recently told Digital Spy that he hopes viewers "start to feel for" Tracy in the coming months.

Thanks! Well the press have been spot on recently with a few spoilers they have put out. Surprised how Corrie continue to let these leaks come out when EastEnders and Emmerdale and Hollyoaks spoilers have hardly had much information come out.

Coronation Street's evil Frank Foster will launch an attack on Carla Connor's business after she reports him for rape, a report has claimed.

A dark new storyline for Carla (Alison King) is expected to begin next month when she is subjected to a physical and sexual assault from Frank, who loses control when she calls off plans to marry him.

According to the Daily Star today, Frank (Andrew Lancel) will seek revenge after Carla reports her ordeal to the police - targeting her business in a bid to cause further pain.

It is thought that Frank will recruit thugs to storm into the factory and swipe items, including a number of sewing machines. Carla quickly realises that she can do nothing to stop what is happening as the twisted villain owns half of the business.

A Coronation Street source told the newspaper: "Carla is left physically abused by the attack and this rubs salt into the wounds."

Coronation Street bosses are understood to have thoroughly researched Carla's new storyline with the help of rape charities and support groups.

Well Carla will have gone through a horrific ideal and she's obviously going to be upset, no doubt Corrie will give her a line cracking a joke about something while she's suffering.

Can't wait to see St Leanne's reaction to her mom and former best friend making friends.
