But it's going about Facebook that the bosses have confirmed to one of the housemates in the Diary Room that they will be able to contact their family via telephone in the morning.

Hence no live streaming.

I don't know whether to believe it or not, I mean it seems like the whole CBB6 'Ulrika was paid to win and La Toya stayed in a hotel' conspiracy again.

But I mean who knows?

Do you think Endemol would really allow this? I mean none of the celebrities really seem really 'high maintaince' surely if they could handle John McCririck, Ulrika Johnson, Vinnie Jones etc in the house then these bunch should be fine?

Well this is the thing, Channel 5/Endemol can do whatever they like to get the housemates to do what bosses want now as no one is watching. The whole show is a foregone conclusion in the production offices now. BB is no more and the reality is dead. Now all it is is pure entertainment which is a load of crap. No doubt they will get the ratings though, so they will be happy and it doesn't really matter what we think.

Exactly man, tonight's launch was the best one since BB9 - and it's like, we came from such hype and stuff all day right up to launch - so much excitement and then...gone.


It feels as if it hasn't even happened, like they aren't even in there.

Usually we have our Live Feed Discussion Thread open by now, and we're all talking and laughing and sh*tting ourselves every 15 Minutes when the theme tune goes on when LF went on a break out of the blue.

We knew this already months ago when the series was first announced. They are getting rid of the option come the new "proper" series.

Channel 5 want ratings and entertainment. They don't give a monkeys about sticking to the original concepts. Which in my book is truly sad. Back to basics is what BB needed.
I don't think we have ever been this far away from the original concept and I for one am not happy with it what so ever.

No Contact & Live Feed is the foundations which hold Big Brother together and with out them its not really the same programme. I wish channel 5 had just done a show prettty much exactly the same but not used the Big Brother name in vain. Ruining the whole idea of it for me.

I don't care about the celeb version breaking rules because it doesnt have anything to do with the original concept of BB. It wasn't a celebrity experiment. It was about normal everyday people confined with no contact.

The celeb version is just a novelty spin on it.

patrick your right tonights launch was one of the bestes in a long time i was so excited, and then as soon as it finnished the backlash started and its putten a massive damper on everything, even my own heads boiled over with the anger were are these apps? the bloody offical site is ****e theyve turned oktv into when bruv takes over bbots was piss poor it seems everything went down hill as soon as the launch show finnished and its not fair months weve been waiting for this the excitement has never been better for it, an it gets spoilt because we couldint watch them settle in the shows been spoilt for me im at a point were i dont know what to do

All there video's on youtube have got 20 dislikes and maybe 7 or 5 likes, every single comment on facebook is pretty much 2 do with live feed, i can really see them bringing it back for the normal big brother

Now that we have no live feed the rumours will be going crazy. No doubt angry fans will be making stuff up just to try and ruin the new series as they're annoyed, people will be claiming things that their "sources" have told them and people will spread these rumours everywhere to get back at C5. We have a choice to either believe them or just ignore them and pass them off as false. Personally, i'm going to choose the second choice. Unless I ever see any hard evidence to suggest otherwise then i'm going to pass it off as BS. While some rumours may be very very true, there's likely to be far more which are false and so i'm not going to ruin this series for myself by worrying about everything which may or may not be going on and deciding weather it's fake or not. Honestly, it's not worth the trouble. Enjoy the series for what it is and take your time following it. For all we know it could be cancelled yet again after BB12 so I know personally I don't want to ruin the chance to watch what could possibly be the last series EVER (because, face it, if it's been cancelled twice then no other channel will touch it - it will be dead completely!).

Even if there is, that still means we might only have two main series left and two Celebrity series left. It sounds a lot now but you can guarantee it will go quickly.
