maybe the show will be a success, maybe not? who knows?

lets suppose it flops, what are CH5 and Endemol gonna do about the regular BB

in my opinion, if the show does flop, they should take a risk and change their whole approach

when BB first started the target audience was not the same as the target audience of today

why don't they raise the tone, make the show more serious, go back to basics and old school style BB

make truly radical changes from what we have been used to last few years
instead of getting HMs who are out for fame, dopey, sluts etc get a house full of genuinely normal people and make the show a SOCIAL EXPERIMENT instead of making it an entertainment show and trying to manufacture the interest

axe big mouth/bit on the side and have a serious sideshow, get rid of the gutter humour aimed at imbeciles

people might say "oh no one is gonna watch that, it be boring" etc, but this is only IF this series flops, so it cannot get any worse and might actually be a big success full of NATURAL storylines, conflicts, romances, entertainment just like early BB

Well to be fair the changes they've made have been quite radical already. But you do have a point, this CBB is almost like a trial run to try different approaches and styles for the proper series, they'll gauge what aspects work and what don't a tweak them as they see.

I'd rather an old school Big Brother late at night with a niche audience, sort of like a cult show, as opposed to the new and improved wanky Big Brother still trying to be a national supershow.

i have watched the movie cube and many similar lesser known movies

i've always wanted a BB that has a style like those type of movies

I would rather BB flop now than turn into some popular show that its 'cool' to like because this is terrible compared to the predecessor. It would prove how the british public are a bunch of easily impressed sheep if this becomes more popular.

This IS the good old days - look around you! Everyone is talking about it.
It's everywhere, this is full on BB7 again.

The house is amazing, the show is amazing, the hype is great and the housemates are excellent.

So what do you class as the good old days? BB10 and BB11? Wonderful, last time I checked - we wanted to leave that era?

Yeah the editing team might of went abit OTT - but that's hardly going to make the show flop at all, they need to tone it down abit for BB12 definitely though.

Yeah, if a channel "lower down the EPG" or something took it on and instead of having the fame hungry HMs have normal people, but DON'T call it Big Brother, that will be a turn off to people straight away.

I will be very interested to see tonights ratings. Then we will see if we are just being nostalgic dicks unable to let go or if the masses agree.

I don't care about the hype or numbers of people watching it. I want a seriously edited show not some crappy, cheesy, americanised mess. I couldn't care about it being a popular show I just want the BB I loved back.
