So why when they ordered hair extentions was Jay saying he wanted booze and fags instead of food? seriously he was only doing it to make Aaron and Harry look bad.

Given that Mr Muscles was complaining about the state of his arms due to the lack of food, moaning about him being starving - shows how much he cares about his body - (how much exercising do we ever see him do......) - that he'd rather have a fag than feed himself.

And yes, I smoke, but I'd rather eat if I was so concerned about the effect so little food was having on my body, in the way Jay makes out.

A total hypocrite, just wants to waste money, they get so many treats and extras anyway, they don't have to worry as to food, they have for instance had drink and pizzas tonight according to bbbots.

In fairness he talked about getting some ingredients so that they could all have at least one proper meal and he offered to cook it himself but then Aaron said everyone's just getting there own stuff so I think he just thought "****** it, just get me booze and fags"

Actually, beer contains vitamins, folic acid, calcium and iron. It is made form malt and barley, which is filling and staves off hunger pangs. In moderation, it is quite good for you...

Um..no.

Fags -not so much. And if you had a choice of a balanced nutritious diet versus beer, then skip the beer. But beer isn't BAD in moderation, it is quite nutritious - and to a Newcastle lad it's obviously more appealing than endless banana's, and chickpeas and rice or whatever. It actually contains a lot of vitamins and minerals (and calories.) And it helps you forget how miserable you are, right?

Short term he is having what I would have.

In my mind £10 isn't a lot for food, so in an environment like a prison with such a tense atmosphere I think I'd also spend my money on booze and fags. At least it would give me some pleasures for the week, the money wouldn't buy much nutritious food and BB provide the basic foods for the housemates.

Same here. He was being selfish and I don't blame him. If he'd got food they'd all have used it. Once he was told everyone was getting their own stuff he just went for booze and fags (which he'll be able to keep an eye on, unlike chicken etc which would go in the fridge)

After selfish actions last week, I reckon fair play to him

£10 ain't gonna buy him much in the way of food. He may as well live off the basics that BB supply and have a beer/fag to comfort him. This will be a hard week regardless.

I think though the shopping list prices are at wholesale pricing for foodstuffs, I recall when Harry was mucking about with the shopping list,food colourings were priced at 20p each.
I don't know anywhere that you can get colourings for only 20p a bottle so if that is the case then £10 on food would go a lot further indeed.

They've also never had a hard week in there yet, they have had from £350 to £500 every week and then had extra drink, treats, takeways etc brought in in addition to that.
I've seen other BB series where for 2 and 3 weeks in a row they have had only basic shopping budgets and very little in the way of extra drink too.

I'd still go with Booze and fags for the week and live off the basics. Remember he is up for eviction so he has no idea if he'll even be there for the food. And BB usually gives them treats during the week.
