For those of you that know me you know I love game players, strategists and planners. So usually Aaron as a housemate would be right up my street as he is all of those things. He is smart, he has played a game and a good one...
...but he has tried to fool us, the viewers. He hasn't involved us in his strategy and let us know what he is planning so we could be part of his plan and plot with him. He has lied to us at times and sucked so many into his scheme. I expect to be slated for this, but if you are intending to use game play on BB then let the viewers in on it so we can relish in the experience too. That is why I dislike him, i had high hopes for him and he let me down and shut us out.

I know what you mean. Atleast with gameplayers like Victor + Anton this year they weren't afraid to admit it in the DR when they're one on one with the viewer. Aaron is just using the viewers for his own gain rather than involving them for entertainment. Instead of being the obvious gameplayer character I think he's putting on a act to try seem genuine. Quite sad how many people have fallen for it right until the end and can't even bring themselves to admit he has played BB right from the start.

Honestly, if I was a fan I'd feel cheated. I'd want to be part of that experience with the housemate and the reason that they had gone on to win knowing the full facts. I don't expect many others to think like I do, but I love my strategy and gameplay (ask Locke during TiBB BB) and it's one thing to trick the housemates, but to trick your fans seems a bit hollow.

How can you be sure that this is not the real Aaron though?
How can you be sure that the Alex we are seeing is the real Alex? The same for every housemate. Last edited by headaball; 01-11-2011 at 01:21 AM. |

Gut feeling. I could be wrong but I've always been taught to trust my gut instincts.

You're right. He has done things in the house to try to win over (ie fool) the viewers. It's also been working very well. It might not be your cup of tea in terms of entertainment but he is working everyone and going for the win. Much better then being "the game player" for the series and coming in 4th or 5th.
Was Anton really a game player? He sat in the DR and pointed his fingers at the screen a lot. However there weren't that many things he actually did to influence anything. Pointing out Maisy and Aaron kissed (and saying Aaron fingered her) and lying about what Harry said about Lousie. That's about all I can remember. He was more fake in the DR than Aaron if anything. I can see your point. But think of it this way if it is a game plan. Then if he wins he's going to let us in on the twist in the tale on the winning. That's if he's playing a game. Think of it and I am not saying that he is a game player. But if it all was an act then the twist in the tale when he wins will be a good one to see. If he is as smart as a lot of people who hate him say he is. Then he's not going to let too much on so that they keep coming back to see what the deal is.

I don't think he is tricking anyway but if he did say he had some massive gameplan and was using Faye after big brother finished i wouldn't regret voting for him at all she'd have to take some of the blame for falling for it for 8/9 weeks

I'm backing Aaron now, because he is the only one left in the house that's truly playing a game and part of playing the game is fooling the public into voting for you. I cannot hold that against him at all.
You know whats funny. I created a thread a week and an half ago warning Aaron fans not to vote out Anton, because once Anton is gone. Aaron would turn into the villain, because he is the only other person besides Anton that was playing a game. http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...d.php?t=188170 But did the Aaron fans listen? Of course not. All they did was make fun. Look now, exactly what I predicted is happening. Aaron is now the Villain. |

Oh, don't get me wrong. I may not love Aaron like I did in the first two weeks but he still deserves to be in the final. He's been a major part of this years show and nobody can deny that.

Only way to tell if he's playing a game is wait and see til the final interview. Either he will look like Jigsaw from SAW and a massive twist in the tail will come into play and he will walk off into the sunset with all the money and being the winner. All of us being played. Or he will have been himself and walk off with the money and Faye.
If it's a twist then he will be even more of an ultimate housemate than anyone who's been in big brother ever. But I feel he is being himself. He's stayed very true to what he said on his video going into the house of what he's like. |

I agree.
He is not at all endearing like Victor and others were. He just comes across as very sly and slimy. He's trying to manipulate the public just like he is those in the house. He is a great housemate, but not a winner. And some of the best housemates ever haven't won, so it's not a bad thing. But I just don't think he deserves to win.

His little 'piece to camera' it the toilet was just too much. Even Harry has said (I didn't believe it at first) that Aaron has studied how to do the camp bits (I'd also say vinerable/fake sweet) for the benefit of BB girlie viewers.

![]() Aaron would have to be a machievelian genius to not only manipulate the house but also the entire viewing public. He is clever but c'mon hes not that clever ffs. People in BB dont go far if they are fake, regardless what games hes played in the house hes always been true to his morals, never wavered, even when it made him monumentally unpopular in the house. He understand (like nobody else ever has) that its only US the public that matters not the other HMs. |

I 'm sure Aaron told us all when he went in the DR,i clearly remember him saying he was there to play the game,BUT not everything he does is in that 'Game' He also told us with his garden chat what he was doing with noms,I dont feel fooled at all,I have loved watching him,I would not have watched so long if not for him

I honestly don't believe Aaron is as big of a game player as y'all make out. I don't think he's got this huge, detailed game plan, where everything he does is calculated.
Having a couple of moody days every week is hardly going to help him win, and surely he knows Faye is dragging him down, especially after her boos last Friday, yet they shared a bed yet again last night. He may do the odd thing here and there, but I think for the most part we're seeing the real Aaron. We've seen too much of his bad, grumpy sides for it all to be an act. |
