His voice will be included in the contestants' VTs. It'll just be the live ones "LAST WEEK ON THE X FACTOR... IT'S TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC". Probably just get Dermot doing it.

If he did walk out then I'm sure they have enough recordings of him or they could download the iPhone app and play that through the mic
