TIBB's RED DEVIL!!!

Yes just to ask why and see if they have any remorse. In some instances it has actually had a good result as the offender has changed their ways and once free from jail if they manage to resist the lure of crime again get their life on track.
Some have no remorse at all which you would expect from hardened criminals and the negative effect is more anger, possibly bitterness but it would still answer a few questions that need to be asked from victims..

Doesn't matter if I was their victim or not
If I ever ended up in room with any kind of violent offender or sexual offender, they would be tied to a chair naked whilst I carry out various forms of torture on them, whilst I carry on a very entertaining conversation with them about their crimes At the end, just before I deliver the death blow, I would say "its good to talk" in a bob hoskins voice |

I couldn't possibly say unless I was in such a situation. Hazarding a guess it would depend on the crime. Sometimes as humans we need closure to be able to move on.

I've been a victim of crime and no I would not want to meet them,I wouldn't be responsible for my actions I don't think.

It depends on what crime they had committed against me. If they had murdered a family member I don't think I would want to meet them, ever. Although I can understand that some people feel the need to meet the offender who murdered their loved one as they may have many questions about it and to try and find some kind of closure.

Well over the years I have been burgled. Pushed around by a druggy stoned out of his stupid head and more recently had my car stolen never to be returned......
Yep I would love to meet those that have commited a crime against me as long as i was allowed to put a noose round their bloody necks and see them swinging from the nearest tree...... |

I fully Understand your Feelings but the whole point is to talk only. I assume the Junkie would be drug free at the meeting. |
