Hey guys! As some of you may know, I am a peer mentor in school (I help with anti-bullying) and the other day, we sent a letter to the Mayor about litter on the street our school is on, this was on Monday, we had a reply on Wednesday! 2 DAYS after we sent it!
It's been passed on to the right area in the council!

It's a bit boring and daft, but exciting that the Mayor acknowledged the Peer Mentor team!

It's fantastic, and we have massive plans for the team, we get our badges next week (I'm excited for the plans we have)

We need a motto or slogan though.
Me and my friend was thinking "Together, we WILL beat bullying"

That slogan is related to two things,
1 - Beating the bullying
2 - We are backed up with a charity called 'Beat Bullying'

We're getting there, it'll take time but its getting better

We have peer mentoring scheme at my school too, was actually one myself last year, but I got sacked :L

It was our whole group. We ****ed about so much on the 3 day residential where we were supposed to have our training sessions. Some mentors were unreliable and never even cared about their job. There was a lot of bitching and fighting. Basically it was a mess

Didn't take the matter serious then eh, can't say I'm surprised that the whole group was disbanded. The right decision was made.

Bit in red above: that's much of what defines a bully. How ironic for a group set up to act against bullying.

More power to you Jamie Pugh. You all seem to be taking it seriously which is never a bad thing for such a subject.

Yeah but it wasn't all of us though. It was just a few people who messed about. But they unfairly fired us all instead. There were some of us who really did care. But we weren't given a chance.
