Easily has the worst set of Offcials in any footballing country

Apart From United , City and Spurs the other teams in the league are quite poor

The standard of Football is as bad as watching the SPL. Other than Swansea and Spurs no other team play nice fluid football on a CONSISTENT basis

Full of Racists,Thugs and Woman beaters and that is at Liverpool alone who don't get called on their nasty behaviour

And of course the FA the most biased and **** association in any sport

Sorta agree. Three of the biggest clubs in the country are a bit of a mess at the moment, and I'm not sure how long Spurs'll be performing this well for, especially when Harry's off to manage England.

It's still probably the most competitive and the league with the most top quality teams in Europe. I'd say Barcelona and Real could beat any of the English clubs relatively comfortably but there is a massive gap between those two and the likes of Valencia and Levante, and I would take any one of City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, even Newcastle over those teams. And the standard of football in the Premier League is still better than Seria A, the Bundesliga and the other major European leagues as well

Defensively, this has been one of the worse Prem seasons, Hence the fact all the English teams will be out of the CL come next round.

Yeah agree with KA, the defending, absolutely atrocious, the attacking, better than ever..been one of the better season's for unpredictability, the rise of Norwich and Swansea for me has made it one of the best seasons for a while

Yeah, but to be honest it's a joke everywhere, our ref's are probably the best surprisingly

they were always bad, we just make more of a fuss about it now because we have multiple angles and replays. Beforehand no one really got any other angle so nothing was made of it

The Championship in all honesty is a lot more enjoyable to watch. The offciating is 20x the standard in the prem and there is a lot less play acting , most of the football tends to be a lot better aswell

Totally spoilt, and clueless attitude towards football. It's a cyclical game, and the premier league doesn't have any right to produce the best teams year after year. Man City will take over football pretty soon, so you'd better get used to that.

Your clueless comments about Liverpool continually show you up as bitter and obsessed. Our days as a major player when it comes to footballs big prizes is pretty much over. We've made too many bad decisions at board Liverpool since Dalglish's first reign, and with the financially doped reality of the PL, we have now been left behind. Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal will be the teams competing from our league. But cut your constant lies and antagonistic attacks on the club to your private conversations. Lie about your own club, not mine. You know, pretend that Fergie hasn't been fined for racist comments, pretend that Keane didn't hit a woman, pretend that Giggs wasn't shafting his brothers wife, pretend that Neville hasn't refused handshakes.

If the championship is so much better, you should have picked a local team to support in London. But then you may not have any glory to chase, boo hoo.

Like I say, football is cyclical, and there will be a time in your life, when Utd go on a long run without winning anything. Appreciate what you have today and enjoy it, don't be so small time and petty. But you didn't want a thread to discuss the state of football, you wanted a thread to get some jabs in.
