Default I really don't see the problem with Brian...

I know a lot of people have criticised his hosting techniques and I will admit they are definitely not the best, but I think Brian is a very good fit for the show, admittedly any problems people seem to have with him seem more a fault of the script writers or producers.

Brian's interviewing is a little stilted, but definitely improving, and quite frankly Davina wasn't at Paxman levels, even after 10 years on the job. I think it's obvious there are problems with C5BB, and there are much bigger one's that need to be fixed before getting concerned about Brian.

There are many problems with Channel 5 Big Brother, but Brian is their biggest problem!

I've never thought there was a problem with Brian. Obviously C5 agree as he was given another contract after BB and CBB last year. If Emma was really that good she would have been given the gig first off.

Not really, regardless of the lines Brian is saying he's wooden and reads the autocue like a granny who needs glasses. Davina was much more natural and spontaneous. Admittedly I preferred her in the early years but she never sounded like a robot.

Channel 5 gave Josie and Amy Childs their own shows. I.e. Not the best judgement for talent.

1.Emma has nothing to do with this.
2.I don't really like emma but she is 3 times better than brian.
3.She was almost certain to host at first but she probably dint get it because she was pregnant.

It's the repetitive catchphrases that really irritate me - particularly 'just saying' at the end of a sentence. He can't interview for ****.

He's wooden, his catchphrases are ****, he can't interview and he leaches over straight men.

No you couldn't. Big Brother was 'in' back then. People will not watch now because it is associated with being lower class and is trash tv. Which it is.

He just needs to stop. Stop it.

He's so bad, he's cheesy and he has no presenting skills what so ever

The show is produced by Endemol, therefore he will have been the choice of both Endemol and C5.

Well it was between her and brian, and most people thought it would be emma till channel 5 confirmed its brian.

Well let's just hope they get rid of him or he gets better with practice, and maybe if they if they do interviews in the studio his interviewing will be better.

I don't think he's said "Just Sayin'" in a while, it's just he said it so much at the beginning it's sort-of followed him. "I love it" is his thing now, but that's more of a go-to line rather than a catchphrase.

I don't know that most people thought it would be her. I certainly didn't. He obviously got through all the screen tests etc better than her. They did not choose him because she was pregnant, as we all know that is strictly against employment law.

He's really wooden and awkward. Davina was really smooth and natural when she presented. Brian feels so forced.

I think Brian only actually said "just saying" about three times in one show. People remember it because they want a stick to beat him with. The same goes for "love it" - he said it a lot in one show, that was all.

Try watching the quiz show Pointless, Alexander Armstrong uses the phrase "very good" hundreds of times in a single show, one time he used it 5 or 6 times in a one minute interview with a contestant, and nobody pulls him up on it.

I think different days vary but it gets between 2.5 - 4 million viewers a day. For the BBC tea time slot quiz show it's been a big hit for them.
