Default Toast and Salmon ......

am just about to tuck into this - haven't had for ages: roasting hot cup of tea, hot toast, melted butter and lashing of (tinned) salmon spread over the toast.

Nom nom nom nom nom.

What little snackeroonies do you take an occasional notion for?

Ooh I've never tried that...do you have lemon juice & pepper on it?

Sometimes i get an uncontrollable urge for Houmus (?) sprinkled with paprika and pitta bread soldiers to dip ( also can substitute the houmus for Tsatsiki or guacamole)

Toast with smooth pate , lemon juice & pepper

Toast with scrambled eggs, smoked trout & chives

You made me hungry now Pyramid...

I had lemon juice (but only a tiny bit), black pepper and tiny tiny finely chopped onion through it. It is lovely, really is but there is something about the hot cuppa that tops it off.

Tzatsiki I love also.

I've just eaten and I'm salivating now at the though of all these little snacks.

Okay. I'm beginning to think I've got some weird chavistic sense of taste as far as my snacks are concerned.

*opens fois de gras and gets out french toast breads, looks out champagne flutes for the Bollinger*

I know some folk who turn their nose up at tinned salmon - but I don't care! Bizarre thing is: I don't like fresh salmon. In fact - it's been years since I tried it - I may actually try it again, see if my palate has changed.

Sardines / Pilchards on toast always look great especially with the tomato sauce but they are just a bit too oily for me. Isn't one of them full of bones? Pilchards I think?

so does salmon but you can 'smush' them up very easily into the meat/flesh. Must be hard to fillet little tiny fishes all the same. A job with people with tiny little handies.

I actually hate the cruelty with real pate tbh. Though I do like the taste - I struggle with how I can eat it. *crackers...in more ways that one*

Hello you ! trouble is back

I had a real notion for poppyseed crackers a while ago but I coudn't find any anywhere - I love them with Philadelphia cheese, with a slice of tomato.

TUC biscuits are still one of my favourites but I pig out on them -and have a contest on my own to see how many I can eat without taking a drink -.... nothing quite like inhaling bits of TUC biscuits to sort the lungs out and make them appreciate the fags aren't so bad after all !!!

Love a 'fry up' - minus the kippers, though not tried them for years - taste changes so might like them now.

A full english brekkie is hard to beat with mushrooms too - but I prefer tinned tomatoes - so much more juice to mix in with the egg yolk and to mop up with toast.

god.... I have a notion for that now. In fact, I have all the ingredients....... decisions decisions...that or beans/or spag on toast.

Aye that's the stuff.... I'm not into that.... the stuff I eat is the kid on varieties - I mean the fact that I like the taste/texture of pates in general....... given where it originated from - if people like me didn't buy any of it - I'd not be adding to those who then want to try it and the 'real stuff'.

If that makes sense! it doesn't really as my own choices don't affect what others eat !
