That is upsetting, I wanted Sarkozy to stay as French president.

If he's a socialist then it can only mean good things for France.

Well, this is going to stir things up especially between the French and the German leaders now, our own leader David Cameron will not like this either.
A lot more uncertainty coming as to the eurozone I fear.

Merkel is about to rip his head off.
Good thing, he's useless anyway.

But then again people will complain in 5 years time when we will elect a new president. So it's fair for both sides.

Merkel doesn't say anything straight to your face. She knows she has the power to rule Europe and knows how to use it.

I know you missed me

Personally,I didn't much care for Sarkozy but I feel the French have made a mistake electiong Francois Hollande.

We,here in the UK and also across Europe need leaders to be looking in the same direction, not pulling away here and there with untried or already failed ideas as to economic policy.

Sarkozy lost because he destroyed the economy. We need to go back to Keynesian economics, which is the direction the world is now moving to. Austrian economics is a failure.
