Hey, not sure how much interest there'll be for this, but this section of the forum is very quiet right now, so in an attempt to liven it up, how about a Writing Competition? (Have obtained permission to do this)

Here's the Lowdown.

Three Categories are available, you may only choose one for your entry.

Short Story or
Articles of Interest or
Poem/Prose

The Article can contain a poem as well if it's on the same topic.

The first two are self-explanatory and can be on any subject. Articles of Interest - like a newspaper or magazine article on a topical subject, be it media, political, sport, wildlife, anything you think people would like to read about. You may use up to three pictures in your article. All categories will be judged together for one overall winner so choose wisely

I'll need a minimum of 5 entries to make it a viable competition but more would be great.

Post in here if you intend to submit an entry, and you have two weeks from today to deliver the finished product. So that'll be the 23rd May. Deadline extended to 30th May.

All entries will be posted in a separate thread with a forum vote to choose a winner. No formal award but I'm sure you will get a mention in the Games Announcements thread if you win
