People love scandanavia because it's the only "white" countries left. it's quite racist. Same reason they like Canada more than thAN THE US. They don't know anything about these countries, just that they are much whiter. lol

(according to the UN's 2005 worldwide report) Sweden's percentage of the population that is foreign-born is 12.3%. Denmark is 7.16, Norway 7.37, Iceland 7.67 and...let's ignore Finland's 2.96
 US is 12.35, Canada is 18.76, Australia is 19.93. UK is only 8.98. Not really incredibly low compared to them

^^ About to post that. Oslo's non-native population is 30% and Stockholm's 25%. I also think that Norway is officially the most tolerant country on Earth.
tbh I'm quite insulted that I have been called a racist for loving Scandinavia. Infact if anything its completely ironic and shows a lack of understanding. I love that part of the world partly because the population is so diverse. People look up to Scandinavia because it is hyper developed, liberal, free, green, progressive, beautiful, creative, multicultural, peaceful, productive, wealthy, has a well education population and great health system. It is so beautiful... And has managed to keep green spaces in the city.
I feel in the UK we have got it wrong as our cities and green belts are separate.
