I actually want to see it on launch night like the good old days. And the thing is, I think if there isn't going to be a picture of it released before launch, there's an increased chance we might actually get a house tour. Might. And I'd love them to start doing house tours again, so yeah.

But knowing C5 it'll be released tomorrow night.

In BB10 Davina did such a short house tour that she didn't include the diary room in the house tour- in-fact in last year's CBB8 we only saw the diary room due to the twist-

so if we don't get pics, and there isn't a house tour then we'll see it when a housemate enters the diary room for the first time...

Diary room pics have been released before launch for every series since BB9 (except BB11).

I've come to accept it - it's another tool that can be used to promote the show. And besides, it's not like the Diary Rooms are that special any more - last year's was just the BB7 Diary Room rehashed.

I'm sorry but imagine the shock on people's faces in CBB8 - if they avoided forums etc and wished not to have the diary room chair spoilt. Which is only natural as a BB fan knows, back in the day that was one of the main parts of the launch.

Yeah so imagine the shock, when no house tour was in place - there was no grand revealing of the chair... but Kerry Katona falling into it like a whale.

The BB7 Chair was one of the most magical creations ever. Infact that Diary Room is probably the most recognizable because of how over rated Nikki's rants were.

I admit they may have their similarities - especially with that wall. But I don't think they INTENDED to make it like that. I've said it once and I'll say it again, I genuinely think the producer's knowledge of Big Brother history stretches back as far as 2010, and that's that.

This would make sense considering Katy joined BB in 2010 for BB11.

The BB7 Diary Room was the best Diary Room ever - but any way you cut it, whether intentional or not, last year's DR was extremely similar. If they don't have special/unique designs then there's no point in keeping Diary Rooms secret until launch.

Actually Katy's been associated with Big Brother since at least 2009, and her fellow executive producers Suzy Price since at least 2008, and Denis O'Connor since at least 2005.

you can tell the funds for bb on c4 started dropping after bb9. bb 10 house was so badly decorated and the diary room for bb 10 and bb11 were horrible. anyone agree?
