Thumbs down David Cameron's daughter Nancy left behind at pub

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18391663

Quote:
David and Samantha Cameron were at the pub having Sunday lunch with their children and two other families David Cameron and his wife, Samantha, left their eight-year-old daughter, Nancy, in a pub after having Sunday lunch, Downing Street has confirmed.

She is reported to have spent about 15 minutes at the Plough Inn at Cadsden in Buckinghamshire, before Mr Cameron returned to collect her.

Number 10 says the couple were "distraught" when they realised Nancy was not with them.

It said it happened "a couple of months ago".

The pub is near Mr Cameron's country residence at Chequers.

The Camerons were at the pub with Nancy and their other children Arthur, six, and 22-month-old Florence, as well as two other families.

After leaving, Mr Cameron went home in one car with his bodyguards and thought Nancy was with his wife and their other children in another car.

Mrs Cameron had assumed her eldest daughter was with her father. The mistake was discovered when they got home. When the prime minister returned to collect Nancy he found her helping staff.
Doesn't Cameron have people who are able to "count them out and count them back in" ?

Obviously he's far too busy concentrating on Angry Birds and his tennis schedule to keep tabs on his children ..... oh, and he has to run a country, too .....

with respect Kazanne, how can you just forget your daughter? I'd never just 'forget' about my daughter, doesn't put them in a very good light really. The McCann's did that and look what happened to them.

The McCanns is a totally different thing they DIDN'T take their daughter with them!they left her in a villa alone, this is just a case of one thinking the other had her,and yes i have sometimes thought my daughter was with hubby and vice versa, while she was happily playing in her room,i guess i must be a bad parent as I made a genuine mistake.this is just another pop at Cameron as in some papers it says HE left her when it was clearly both of them that had made the mistake, but fair play to those who NEVER make a mistake!I wondered how soon it would be before someone likened it to The McCanns, sorry FC but it's so NOT like the McCanns. They didn't FORGET her they assumed the other had her.

There would appear to be well over a dozen people having lunch with Cameron - surely the bodyguards should have had the brains to track who was where?

Well, apparently not .....

All children are potential "targets" for all sorts of weirdos, but the PM's are more of a "target" than most, so Cameron was more than a little "careless" .....

Disgrace

(I don't particularly care, but it'll be blown out of proportion because he's the PM)

My favourite one that I saw was "they are said to have been 'extremely distraught' at the thought of her talking to working class people"

Can I just put people's minds at rest and assure everyone that Nancy would have been unlikely to encouter any working class people at that particular pub.

Question

BBC

When the prime minister returned to collect Nancy he found her helping staff.

C4

The prime minister's wife returned to collect Nancy.

Guardian

The prime minister rushed back to the Plough Inn in Cadsden, Buckinghamshire, where he found his daughter with staff.

Mail

When Samantha Cameron returned to collect her - after 15 minutes - she was found 'happily helping' pub staff

Telegraph

Mr Cameron jumped straight in the car and rushed back to collect his daughter, arriving at the pub about 15 minutes after the family had originally left.

So was it the PM or his wife?

Since they had been drinking, was either of them 'over the limit' and did they drive back to the boozer themself?

When it's in Little Miss Sunshine it's a funny little moment, but when it's the Prime Minister it's "LET'S THROW FIFTY DIFFERENT ALLEGATIONS AT HIM, THE INCONSIDERATE MONSTER". Really, get a hobby.
