Default bbbots: absent Rex and Emma cutting off interesting Ian comment

BBBOTs was annoying last night.

Was BB9 anti-hero Rex supposed to be on, or did I imagine that? Were his opinions too hot to handle and not towing party line ie Conor is a nice lad, Becky is hilarious etc??? I really liked Rex as a HM, don't get me wrong he had his flaws (the way he spoke about Sara, his whiney girlfriend, telling Rachel he'd swap her for Scrabble etc) but he was interesting entertaining (ordering 57 stars on budget list) and on eviction night he was very supportive of Rachel when a horrified Davina tried to guilt trip her into giving up her winnings)

Also right at the end when Emma was in 'sweaty box' talking to web guy Ian, he was about to say something (potentially) quite interesting about the negative reaction to the nominations ie complaints etc when Emma cut him off with some nonsense about 1Direction which didn't even materialise (despite trailing it before the break). She ALWAYS does this and it's beginning to p*ss me off. She teased about a triple barelled megastar who was a mega BB fan being a panellist. Twitter was ablaze with guessing that it was Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Dougie Houser MD). It wasn't. It was Justin Lee Collins.

Weeks back a guest panelist started talking about Conor's epilator rant and she cut it off, a member of audience asked why Caroline was not kicked out over Gorilla comment, and I think a caller asked Jamie about Conor's threat to punch Benedict as rap party was more or less cut off. The only taboo subject they have addressed was lack of live feed where Jamie gave a fair response.

They seem to allow anything to go on in the house without explaining why.

I would much rather they have 1 ordinary person who was a BB fans be on the panel. That way they would have actually watched the show, know what they are talking about without use of BB HM Face cue cards and offer opinions. Celeb panellists (except ex-BB HM) are often annoying, use cliches and don't often know the difference between the 2 Lukes.

Damage limitation...If we don't talk about it it never happened.

BBOTS frustrates me. It's way better than last year as it's ditched those unfunny little sketches and that weird Jonty weekly review but it's still really sh*te. Only worth it for Exclusives (which are often already on website) or ex-HMs .

No he wasnt he was waiting to read out tweets he had received about what people thought of the people that had been nominated.
He apoligised for not getting chance afterwards on his twitter account and posted a pic of the tweets he was wanting to read out.
There was nothing sinister about it.
