Just a quick story I wrote a while ago
Wrote this at the top of my head a few months ago, was meant to post it here but didn't get round to it, I love writing stories. Tell me what you think!
When I was about 8 years old I was running to the corner shop to get some sweets, I had 20p (which seemed like £5 in those days), I remember being very excited. On my way to the shop I was approached by an older guy driving a white van, he told me that my dad had a big surprise for me at his workplace, I looked puzzled and asked if he knew my dad, the guy then confirmed my dads real name and workplace so I thought it seemed okay. I got inside the back of the van and was greeted by two rather mischievous looking boys aged about 17/18, before I knew it the door was slammed shut and the guy began to drive the van quite fast. I said hello to the 2 boys in the back and they looked at each other and laughed, they both had on hoodies; one red and one black.
A couple of minutes later the boy wearing the red hoodie took a coin from his pocket and threw it at my head, it hurt a little but I didn't make a fuss. Scary/mysterious music started to play from the white van and it got louder and louder; I was beginning to get quite scared now. I had another coin thrown at me but this time it was a lot harder and hurt a lot which lead me to crying; I couldn't even make out which one of them threw it, then and there I knew something wasn't right so I screamed for help but my mouth was quickly covered by the two boys, I can see the guy driving the van laughing; this wasn't looking good at all.
I was taken to a garage, it was horribly messy and had the worst smell ever, I was forced to sit on a dirty mattress and was crying even more at this point; I was told that if I continued to cry they would "put me to sleep". The main guy driving the van just sat there staring at me, he had the most scary serial killer like eyes and it was like we were communicating through our expressions, I stared deep into his eyes and could not find an ounce of remorse so I then ran to the front of the garage and yelled "HELP" as loud as I could, I also kicked the garage door really hard, one of the kids then hit me with something which felt like a metal bar and I immediately fell to the ground unconscious.
I woke up in what seemed like a white room, at first I thought they took me somewhere else but the bed I was laying on was way too clean and comfortable, I soon realised I was in a hospital, the nurse approached me and told me to take it easy, luckily I didn't have any sign of memory loss and knew exactly what had happened. Later that day my parents arrived and my mum explained to me that a neighbour overheard a young boy screaming and crying so they called the police, the police arrested 1 older guy and 2 younger guys in suspicion of child abduction. I was in so much shock because I wasn't expecting to be alive, all I did for the rest of the day was thank God.
A couple of weeks later and I was still trying to clear my mind off of the terrible incident, I was outside playing with my sister when my dad pulled over and offered to take us out to a nearby park, my sister and I were more than excited and rushed into the car without second thought. It was a very hot day and I was looking out the window letting the breeze fan me depending on how fast my dad driving until the worst thing happened, something unexpected, unexplainable and outright freaky; the cd my dad put into the player had the same music I over heard in the white van! What is going on!? I looked at my dad and he looked at me and told me that I look like I've just seen a ghost.... That is exactly how I felt.
So what happened here? How did my dad have the same music as the guy in the white van? Is there something he isn't telling me or could it just be a complete coincidence? If so, how can you explain the guy stating my dads name correctly and knowing where he works? Did my dad owe the guy a favour but refuse to do it, leading him to get revenge? No one will ever know.
