That's unbelievably sad How awful for the parents, family and friends of those children I can't for the life of me understand and never will how anyone can do that, especially to children, there is absolutely no reasoning whatsoever for it. He should have just shot himself straight off and be done with it, then all those sweet little lifes would have been saved. R.I.P little ones.

Did you know that it's illegal in Mexico to own a gun and, as a result, not one person is ever shot and killed in Mexico? Not one! Ever! Do believe that? I'll bet you would.

On a serious note, take away the amount of Americans killed by the Mexican drug cartel and that number of amount killed by gun becomes more reasonable.

America's fascination with guns will never go away and I don't necessarily see that as an evil. It's what allowed the coloninsts to get independence from UK rule. It would be the last line of defense against a 1984 society. If the day ever comes when government becomes too oppressive and tyrannical there will at least exist a means of resistance. In the UK if government becomes tyrannical, what can you do? Write angry letters?

They are saying that the (now deceased) shooter was 20 years old.

It's tragic when there's a shooting like this. But children. It's impossible to comprehend.

America has a much more civilized society compared to Mexico, so not really a good example.

You clearly haven't researched this subject beyond watching a Michael Moore film.

Sounds like mostly kindergarten children took the brunt of this madman's spree. Can't help but feeling sick to my stomach, must stop reading the news.

This is so tragic! Poor people - especially the children shot. It is just 11 days till Christmas time and many children were expecting to celebrate with their families. Sadly the only things in boxes this year will be the bodies of the deceased. . The US must do more to tackle Gun usage.

While it's very sad news and I feel really sorry for the parents, hopefully it means that America will now realise that it's wrong to legalize guns and they ban them after this, children and the parents of those children should feel safe when they go to School.
