Probably the first thing on E4 I've enjoyed in about 5 years, Marcus (apart from Playing it Straight but reality TV shows don't count)

(If no one knows what it's about, it's about an overweight 16yo girl who's released from an institution and befriends 5 people - 1 of whom was her oldest friend before the sectioning. It's set in 1996 and is very 90s-music-oriented )

I actually quite liked it. It has that good balance where it is comic but also could go quite dark. Also the music featured was excellent

the soundtrack

It kinda reminded me of Skins in a way... in that it was a new, good thing on E4. Quite the rarity I suppose.

I'm glad it doesn't seem to have that cliche angst Skins seemed to have at times as well. It's quite refreshing

The finale was last night and was emotional as ever. I felt like I was going to cry watching every episode of this series.
