Default It's weird to think

..that CBB has now had as many series as the main show had when Channel 4 axed it, and that this time next January it will have matched the current BB count. If the show get's renewed again (and I'm pretty sure it will), in two years, at the current rate, it will overtake the main series for the first time in January 2016.

It's appalling to think, really. I dreaded the day when we'd near this, and it's not far off. How awful. We've just got to hope that the regular series is never axed.

Surely though next January we'll be on CBB13 and this summer is BB14 so they won't be on par by then?

I said this time next January it would match the current BB count, i.e. 13.

any BB is good if its CBB or normal BB - bring it on ch5 - just correct a few minor details ie no more teen brats like dead wood or reality tv stars like spidi - boringggggggggggggg.

CBB is doing very well with the ratings. Now channel 5 need to work on the normal series. It's not doing so well. We need better tasks and more varied housemates.

I prefer the regular series because we are getting to know the hm's basically from scratch (if the arent known obviously) rather than the celebs that we have known for years, I also feel as if the regular series is kinda still like a social experiment, I love to watch the hm's getting to know each other, see who they make friends with and how they act in situations etc.

I prefer the celeb version, but it's way too short.

Another musing. It's also weird to think that although, having watched so religiously for so long that every series of the show, unless I specifically think about them on a series by series basis are merged into one in my head, that for the housemates who are from abroad (the Americans in CBB) or scouted non-viewers of the show (most the CBB housemates and at least half the main series housemates), their series is the only recollection they have and is the only thing they know of the show. That for Dennis Rodman, CBB is CBB4, that for Karissa and Kristina, CBB is CBB9. The tasks they did and the housemates they knew are their only knowledge of the show that for 3-4 (or in the case of the main series, 9-13) weeks was their lives and that they are part of the history of.

On balance I prefer CBB, although this series has been sub-standard, IMO.

The main BB is too full of former 'care in the community' types these days!

I wonder if it will catch up with I'm a Celeb (which I've never watched but I assume is a closer comparison for it now).

It's a joke tbh, would suit them better to save their money and put it into the normal series.
