It looks horrid, old and ugly.

They could of modernized it and added a lighter shade of green, used silver instead of gold writing perhaps.

I like the lighter font on the sign.

But I really don't see the point. Wouldn't they have been aswell timing it so that the new Rovers opens when they're on the new set.

With the added window and other new features, it would have been believably added on. Now it's just going to appear out of nowhere.

It probably looks a bit different inside, they can't really change how its looks outside, as some fans would go made (god knows why, before the 80s, the Rovers changed looks a bit more often), I agree too, silver writing would go with those new...things

I do like the green though, I hated the look when it was a lighter green back pre-2008

This is probably a good picture to compare it with

that sticky out bit of the wall seems to have gone now, and has been replaced by a smaller wooden column, plus they've got a bit more of a modern jukebox. If the rest of the pub keeps up the same theme, it might have a good enough new look, I wonder what they will have done with those old dividers between the booths?
