The Green Mile is pretty sad and The Shining is ****e.

Ive only seen them 4 I think... really need to see Misery and The Mist.

Never really thought about it but I need to see some of those films. I've only seen Shawshank and a bit of The Shining.

I agree with this actually, it was alright but not as good as some of his other films imo.

My out right favourite from that list is The Shawshank Redemption, I also voted Stand By Me, The Green Mile, Misery and IT.

I remember when I first watched Pet Cemetery and Salems Lot I was terrified lol but they weren't quite as scary as I remembered when I rewatched them years later

Funny enough it's King's least favorite movie, but he hasn't written a good book since he quit drugs and booze so who cares what he says

The Shining has a rubbish ending which is not in the book...even Misery with the ankle scene is far more graphic in the book....IT was a good movie (even though I hate clowns).

Salems Lot terrified me as a kid but I watched it again and it was horribly dated.

Shawshank and Green Mile stook to the books pretty well and were great films.

My favourite is Shawshank though and up to the end of The Shining....
