Default Do Heat magazine still get excited about BB..?

I remember back in the channel 4 days they were SO into BB.

Davina and Dermot both had columns dedicated to the show at some point.

They were usually first with the big news too and house pictures. But I stopped buying years ago.. I may nip out and see if they have anything about the launch in the TV listings..

Lol, yes. Heat.

I used to read Heat in my youth. It wasn't the celebrity obsessed girly fest it is today back then. It was originally an "entertainment magazine.."

Nope I don't think they cover it as big as they did the daily star cover it the most now

No.

Even on Twitter if it clashes with Made In Chelsea they will tweet about that instead of BB.

Quite ungrateful seeing as without BB Heat would have gone down the pan.

These a few I found from over the years. I agree. Pretty bad form to dump the show for things like Chelsea and Essex which get less viewers.. weird!

Big Brother made Heat the hit it was. It's a shame they refuse to mention it now.

Which non-Desmond publications do mention it?

What's that magazine when they have 100 stories or whatever it is? Closer? Or something like that, not sure if Desmond does that, but they mention BB.

And obviously OK magazine has put in an ad for BB this week. I don't know if he does that too? I don't know much about Dirty Des.

Yeah he does OK!, Star and New, Daily Star, Daily Express, C5 and all his sordid channels that he loves.

Made In Chelsea gets half the viewers BB does and the cast are front page news weekly in Heat so that's not the case.

I had to write an essay on this for my Media GCSE Examination - Heat wouldn't even be around today if it wasn't for BB2.

Even BB1.

Having Andy on their front cover is what swayed them to cover BB as the sales were big.

is Heat magazine even that big a readership any more? Was huge in the late 00s but seems to have dwindled lately.

They have HeatWorld online - link here - Can't see anything so far about BB in that though. Do agree about BB making them what they are, as am sure I read somewhere the magazine was about to go under until BB related stories boosted their sales. Maybe because BB is C5 now, that Desmond has say on who prints what in certain mags and rags about BB?
