Default Series has been ruined.

I'm sorry but just, omg.

That troll AJ on Bit On The Side 'we can reveal its a VOTE TO EVICT ' ****** off love.

One of the most argumentative, gripping series we've had in years and look what happens - the bellends at Channel 5 have to find a way to destroy it.

Sallie or Gina will be gone come Friday, series will fall flat on it's arse.

I honestly just do not know what goes through these producers heads sometimes I mean how ******ing thick can they actually be?

All this, so Emma can sound a little bit like Davina when reading out the script on Friday - pathetic.

The producers are totally incapable of producing a good series, I mean one just has to look at how much of a fail this 'twist' has been - BUT, the housemates are brilliant - and what happens? They have to find a way to ruin that now too.

They troll us on purpose, what's worse is watching the cretin audience on BOTS support and cheer the change to 'Vote to Evict' - it's took us two years to get accustomed to this, WHY CHANGE IT BACK NOW.

Everything about this series has been perfect until they had to go and be assholes and do that. It's like they had to get one little thing in to piss the fans off.

There will be a lot more time to see Dexter hitting on Hazel now, it's all good.

All of this. They even rubbed salt in the wounds by making it a 3 way eviction ://

The three up are all the better housemates, and only one of them (hopefully) is leaving which would have been the same result with a vote to save. Even in a vote to save, if Dexter would go home this week, Gina Vs. Sallie (save a twist) would still be the result next week and one of them would go home.

Completely agree. I shut off BOTS as soon as I heard that, really lost my enthusiasm for this series now. I regret getting invested as much as I have just to have Sallie, Gina, Dexter, Jemima, and whoever else starts doing something worth watching go one after the other. At least with VTS they would have had a chance.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one, Patrick has a point with the way AJ announced it. Actually, as soon as she said 'but there's more...' I knew what she was going to say and then she just confirmed our worst fears as if it was a good thing. Then Nikki piped up as if it's a good decision. I went from being in a really good and positive mood to being so pissed off that I actually switched BOTS off and lost all hope of this being a good series, it was awful.

I just don't get it. They got everything right...the house, the titles, the new theme, Emma, the cast, the Michael thing being a different kind of twist, and now they go ahead and pull out a series ruiner. It's mind boggling.

This series had SO much potential and we can just forget about it now. Why can't they do this to a series that's crap? Not the one that's had the best start to it in so many years.

Yep, was in such a good mood (except the three nominees...although I knew that was going to happen) and then I was so pissed off that I just turned off.

I've now just lost all hope that I just can't be bothered with it anymore part of me actually hopes the ratings just freefall and it's axed, they're asking for it

I was so excited to come on here and discuss how fierce Gina is and what not, and then I was just devastated. I watch online and know I don't contribute to ratings but as soon as I heard AJ screech "vote to evict" I exited out of the window, they don't deserve my viewership

Completely agree. It's their own fault.

I don't know what else they want - they have/had one of the most loyal fanbases they could possibly of asked for. The Big Brother fanbase is one of the most outspoken there is, at least we CONSTANTLY let the producers know what we want.

They are never, ever short of feedback - the vast majority of television companies/media developers have to beg for feedback to build on their show, these dick heads have forum upon forum full of hundreds of fans like us that have been dedicated to this show for years - and all they do is ignore us.

Then, they finally listen to us this year - for once, and now look what they do.

They do something amazing - we all get happy and rejoice, and then they have to go and ruin it. They can ****** themselves and shove their secrets and lies up their arse as far as I'm concerned.

Can't wait to see Callum, Daley, Sam and Jack & Joe in The Final x

I don't think we should give up yet. Back in the good old days of Big Brother it was always Vote to Evict and those were the best series.

Yes but this isn't the good old days of Big Brother.

The last time Big Brother got by just fine with VTE was BB7 - because then, and every series before then was packed with great housemates.

Now we aren't so lucky.

There's not a chance someone like Aaron would of won BB12 if it had of been a Vote to Evict.

I think that this set of housemates are the best we have had in a long time. I think as time goes on we will like them more and more like in past series. Yes it's sad that one of the big characters will go first but that's how Big Brother works, you piss off the public they want you out. It's what makes eviction nights more exciting (remember Get Grace Out!!)

There will still be lots of big characters to entertain us the whole series and BB will probably throw in another bitch halfway through to cause some drama.

not sure why people are being so dramatic and over the top. i agree. bb of old was always vote to evict and was full of very classic seasons.

and if people are so put off and disgusted why do they come on here and moan about it? I dunno about anyone else but when i don't like a show i just stop watching, i don't come on messages boards and waste my time talking about it EVEN MORE

if your done with the show be done with it. stop the crying

i never can wrap my head around the fact that "your" big brother "bbuk" is looked at by the rest of the world as like the pinnacle of big brothers. the big brother to be modeled after. and its loved world wide by tens of thousands of international fans but EVERY year like clockwork you have some brits crying about how bb has gone to **** and how horrible it is now, and how the producers have ruined it.

EVERY YEAR

doesn't it get old watching something you just complain about constantly?

god, get over it, watch something else.

Because they're long-term fans of the show and have the right to comment on what they want? If you're so wound up by it, there's the ignore facility...

standard "THAT'S IT " nonsense from people who'll be watching before next week.

people need to get to grips that entertainment is defined differently by people.

people also need to get used to the phenomenon that, in the first few weeks, if not the very first week, the loudmouth obnoxious arseholes WILL make themselves known and WILL get themselves evicted. it's inevitable. if they had any intelligence or common sense they'd lie low and emerge as a big character midway. i'm so bored of people writing off a series after the eviction of one or two housemates: people were like this with Jasmine Lennard and then the house went onto multiple other talking points (Julie's domineering, Danica/Situation/Lorenzo, Coleen vs. Julie).

it's just... how are you still shocked and upset about the angry bitch going first every single series? it's been over ten years for christ's sake.

Oh I have no problem with that - I get what you mean. I'm just annoyed at the producers changing the voting technique, because in the long run - it'll destroy the series.

i'm annoyed with that too, my rant was more aimed at everyone in general

more than anything else, i find it confusing flicking between vote to save and vote to evict all the time. maybe it was a purely moneymaking decision, though, i can see BB viewers spending more money trying to get rid of people than to keep them in.

Short term, they will definitely get more votes in these early weeks when the big characters are annoying people. But once they are gone, and the well runs dry, we'll be left with a house of non-offensive characters, and people won't feel strongly enough to vote to evict them.

With vote to save, the fans of each housemate were, in essence, voting to keep them in to continue voting for them. It is a rolling accumulation in a way, the people with the biggest fan bases stay in, and so this large group of voters will get to continue to vote. It should really make more sense that Vote To Save would make more money vote wise. Perhaps they weren't getting many votes in the past few series, and suspected a shake-up might get more people voting, but again, that's not looking at the long term :/
