Dan though I thought he seemed ok but tonight when arguing with Dexter he came off as a real dickhead. Also loved his convo with Callum when they were discussing how totally NOT bitchy he was on the sofas directly after, Callum said something like...

'Yeah its not bitching, its almost he opposite of bitching you didn't say alot of it to his face to save his feelings'

I agree with you, he hadn't a valid argument to put to Dan and that was why he was floundering.
Dexter has more to come though as to humble pie on friday when Michael goes.
I really feel sorry for Dexter though because he does genuinely now seem to like and even trust Michael.
Michael has also now let him get to feel that way too, Dexter's going to be sadly, likely feeling let down bigtime tomorrow night.

Dan may believe Michael's an actor, but he cannot be 100% sure. Hence his constant whingeing about it could be ruining an innocent Michael's experience yet he can't stop which would show an ounce of humanity. Hence he's either in on the sham or he is an enormous glowing schlong.

I 100% know Michael's not innocent but Dan is working on a hunch/feeling so there is a chance he's wrong which should moderate his behaviour. For example, I suspect Sallie is Satan incarnate and that a hot poker in her eye socket would only irritate her as she would only be vulnerable to Holy Water. However, I am not certain of this, and thus, in case I am wrong I would never actually take to her with a red-hot poker. I moderate my behaviour in case I actually cause harm, Dan does not, as being perceived as a clever bugger and being the centre of attention are more important to him.

I could also be wrong about his motivation, as his history with the police could have left him with quite a common sense of entitlement to other people's private information, irrespective of their desire to share this or not. This is seen as he takes people to an environment he feels he can be dominant in - the treehouse - in which he proceeds with his 1:1 interrogations. Or am I paranoid at 1am?

But Dan is not wrong and you can't compare it to you suspecting Sallie is a Satan incarnate because that's on a completely different, more outrageous scale than Michael being a mole. Which he is. Dan doesn't need to moderate his behavior because Michael sucked at the job. Everyone knows he's a mole and Michael isn't even acting anymore. He's the main secret and lie and Dan sussed him out rather quickly, I don't see why that's apparently a mortal sin.

Excellent post, I agree with you. I really cannot see what Dan has done wrong, all housemates try to work out what is really going on in the BB house, Dan just clearly is far better at doing that and getting it in the main right too.
