Cyber Warrior
|
Hidden Figures 10/10
Based on the lives of three African-American women who worked for NASA and helped put John Glenn into orbit. An excellent film that combines space travel, mathematics and a history of the American Civil rights movement.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Just what you'd expect it to be. I've forgiven Tom Cruise for being so physically different from the character in the books. Enjoyed it just as much as the first one. 8/10
Suicide Squad. Loved it. Harley Quinn is my new favourite female character. I'll definitely watch it again. 9/10 |

LOL... I'll put you down as 'undecided'.
I kind of like him... He's a good actor, but he does make me cringe when he's interviewed as himself. His face looked strange in that last Reacher film, like you could almost see when the botox was injected. |

20th century women
Really good, funny and the cinematography is sweet. Embarrassing 'cause loads of older people were there probably thinking it was going to be some heartwarming family comedy when a lot of it was teenagers talking about sex All the cast are great. Especially Elle Fanning and Gretta Gerwig 9/10 Last edited by King Gizzard; 08-03-2017 at 06:45 PM. |

Doctor Strange
Was OK I guess but still too many eyeroll moments (Wong listening to Beyonce after jokes about Beyonce... just crawl out of Hollywood's ass, Marvel ) Good/spectacular special effects and Cumberbatch/Swinton/Ejiofor were all good but I'd agree with Dezzy about others being under-used. I'd give it a 6 or a 7 on a good day. Today I'm feeling 6.

50 Shades Darker
Wife saw it at the cinema with friends and then from the description, I had to see it... 8/10 absolutely hilarious. Genuinely one of the funniest films I've seen in ages. The storyline is preposterous where it even exists, the acting is horrendous across the board, and it unironically uses the line "I'm not putting that in my butt! ". It jumps around from random scene to random scene and nothing actually happens at all, and then there's a helicopter crash near the end, and it just randomly occurs after a completely unrelated scene, and then everything is resolved and fine literally 3 minutes later . COMPLETELY bizarre and pointless. Also the sex is all tame and vanilla except there's occasionally a blindfold involved and mild spanking. Oh and he gets her to draw around his moobs with lipstick to show her "his boundaries". Gold. Can't wait for the next one. Last edited by Toy Soldier; 10-03-2017 at 08:15 AM. |

They are abysmal to the point of being so, so funny. You need to watch them.
In the first one she acts all interested in bondage and then when he gently taps her arse with a cane she's like " WHY DO YOU WANT TO HURT MEEE?" and leaves . Last edited by Toy Soldier; 10-03-2017 at 10:11 AM. |

I'm so embarrassed for Jamie Dornan but I'm glad he ended up doing it instead of the beautiful Charlie Hunamm, it would have ruined him for me

And even though Kevin Costner starred in it, he was not the main star, but the three women were.

Oh my god ..can't say much more than that really Why didn't the little dude even get a nomination (had a case to even win) when Brie Olsen won and they play just as big parts as each other? I'd say they were trying to safeguard him but they've nominated really young actors before. He's amazing 9/10 Last edited by King Gizzard; 13-03-2017 at 02:03 PM. |

There was genuine expression and acting ability not just a kid who can't act playing a kid like you get in most movies, it's crazy
