We don't get shown much bitching from Hazel but in the last 2 nights we have been shown that it's not one sided, Hazel definitely doesn't like Gina either and it's not because of Gina bitching about her, it is purely because she doesn't like the way Gina talks about her wealth.

Gina probably picked up on this weeks ago. Even if Hazel doesn't say much to her it's not hard to tell when someone doesn't like you, it could be a roll of the eyes, a snigger, or the person just being dismissive or not really paying attention to you.

Gina reads this as Hazel taking a disliking to her and dismissing her purely because she is jealous of her wealth. I don't think she gets that Hazel might dislike her not just because she has money but it's because she talks about it too much for Hazel's liking. People can be raised or else have very different opinions on how or even if you should speak about money.

Gina has said she's used to people hating on her on the outside. She probably feels that Hazel is just another one of these people who just wouldn't even give her a chance to get to know her, but instead of showing hurt about it I think Gina goes on the attack instead.

I do believe that Hazel thought the public would feel the same way she does about Gina and that Gina would not be popular at all with the public. She said something tonight about being surprised about the public keeping Gina in because the public aren't 'billionaires' either. I know she made a comment before too one of the times Gina was saved, something about the public must enjoy watching Gina acting spoilt or something?

If at the start of the show Hazel instantly disliked Gina because of the way she carries on, and Hazel felt she was a pretentious spoilt brat, and Hazel also felt that the public would feel the same way - then I would absolutely guess that she probably was dismissive of Gina, even if only in very subtle ways.

I think Gina picked up on this and felt rejected by Hazel without even being given a chance and who knows what else she heard in that Wolfy and Hazel convo in the bathroom? She probably feels Hazel only deemed her worth talking to or started giving her the time of day once she realised the public had saved her several times.

We definitely see Gina bitch a lot more about Hazel but I think she might just still be holding a grudge from being angry with Hazel earlier in the show. She doesn't make herself look good though with this bitching and needs to reign it in a bit I think.
I wish they had a proper conversation about things, and maybe they could actually work things out. Might be too late at this stage though.

Hazel , I think, is a tad resentful of Gina's "supposed" wealth and life style. I get the impression from Hazel that she works extremely hard and Gina just doesn't. I'm not surprised Hazel doesn't like her, it's not like Gina shows any appreciation for what she has, she seems to think she's entitled to it. Some people seem to be dazzled by the suggestion that Gina has money and think that if other people aren't dazzled, then they're jealous. Firstly, if Gina really is rich, any money spent on her education by her parents ought to be refunded immediately because she's as thick as four short planks nailed together. The most astute thing I've heard Sallie say was Gina isn't rich cause her teeth and hair are shocking. She's pretty much spot on.

First of let me just be clear that I think Daley was definitely most in the wrong regarding the flirting, and I was also not sad to see him removed. I am also liking Hazel lately.
But you may have a point about how watching the two of them flirt might have hit a raw nerve for Gina.


IF the stories about Gina are true, then her Dad left her Mum for his mistress when Gina was only 14. Gina is said to hate her father's partner and calls her "horrid, horrid, horrid" - that sounds familiar. She seems to equate her father's love with how much money that he spends on someone, and once when he bought the mistress a really expensive handbag Gina demanded that she be bought the same. The reason she is said to have fallen out with her father is because of not getting along with his partner.

In the safehouse Gina did seem genuinely disgusted by watching Daley and Hazel, and it wasn't just Hazel she was also angered by Daley, I remember her saying something along the lines of "he's the one with a girlfriend"but Dexter kept convincing her that Daley was innocent and hapless and didn't realise how he was coming across, and that he would 'have a chat' with his mate to warn him. Gina was also very blunt when Daley asked her how Hazel and he were coming across.

Anyways this is all a big "IF" of course, as I don't know exactly what to believe in the media. I was going to mention this in my first post but decided to just stick with the stuff they had both mentioned in the show. If it's true about her Dad though , it's kinda sad if she has come to learn that the only way her Dad can show her any love is to buy expensive things for her. I would imagine that your whole identity and how you viewed your own self worth might become focused all around the material things you have. That is of course just armchair pop psych from me though, don't know anything for sure and still haven't had the story verified yet.

I agree. Can't understand how so many have failed to notice this. People with pots of money have good teeth, good hair and good fashion sense - especially young women obsessed with their appearance. The girl is FAKE.
